(Alliance News) - Majedie Investments PLC on Friday said it has raised new funds in response to "unprecedented volatility" in equity markets.
The investment company said it has raised GBP10 million.
Majedie said this has reduced its gearing to roughly 8.1%.
Shares in the company closed 5.2% higher at 152.00 pence each in London on Friday.
