EXECUTIVE CHANGES: New chairs for CVS Group, LSL Property and Videndum

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Tuesday and Wednesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

CVS Group PLC - Norfolk, England-based veterinary services - Promotes David Wilton to chair from non-executive director, starting immediately. Wilton has been on the CVS board since September 2021. As an executive, he worked in corporate finance with Rothschilds. He also was chief financial officer of Sumo Group PLC, a provider of services to the video games industry, and finance director of WYG PLC, a professional services firm, both since acquired. Wilton replaces Senior Independent Director Deborah Kemp, who was serving as interim chair.

Boku Inc - San Francisco-based mobile payment services - CFO Keith Butcher will step down as a director at Boku's annual general meeting on May 22. He will remain an employee until October and then a consultant until April next year. Boku says it is looking for a successor.

LSL Property Services PLC - Newcastle Upon Tyne, England-based provider of services to mortgage intermediaries and franchised estate agencies - Hires Adrian Collins to be non-executive chair, starting immediately. Collins worked in fund manager, including 25 years at Gartmore Investment Management, and was a founder of fund platform Trustnet Ltd. He is a non-executive director of wealth manager Hargreaves Lansdown PLC.

Earnz PLC - AIM cash shell seeking acquisitions in energy services sector - Hires Linda Main as senior independent non-executive director, starting immediately. Main is a chartered accountant who led the Capital Markets Advisory Group of KPMG LLP until this past September.

Longboat Energy PLC - oil and gas development in Norway and Malaysia - Promotes Nick Ingrassia from corporate development director to chief executive officer, replacing Helge Hammer, effective immediately. Hammer will focus instead on his role as chair of Longboat Japex Norge AS, the Norwegian joint venture that Longboat formed with Japan Petroleum Exploration Co Ltd in May last year. "Delivering on Longboat Japex's acquisition pipeline is critical for the company, and this step will allow Helge to focus on delivering shareholder value from Longboat's Norwegian joint venture," explains Longboat Chair Graham Stewart. "The board sees considerable opportunity in Southeast Asia, and Nick's appointment as CEO will allow Longboat to focus on taking full advantage of the exciting opportunity set in front of us."

Videndum PLC - London-based hardware and software for broadcasters, film studios and other content creation - Stephen Harris becomes chair on Wednesday, having been named chair designate back in November. Harris is the former CEO of FTSE 250-listed Bodycote PLC. Current chair, Ian McHoul, will step down from the board at the AGM on June 19.

Fulcrum Metals PLC - mineral explorer in Canada - Chair Clive Garston will step down from the board at Fulcrum's AGM on June 3. Fulcrum is "making good progress" in recruiting a replacement.

Oriole Resources PLC - gold exploration in West Africa - Tim Livesey steps down as CEO and from board on Tuesday "to focus on his other business interests". Oriole hires Martin Rosser as new CEO and executive director, starting Wednesday. Rosser was CEO of AIM-listed Alexander Mining PLC for 13 years.

Global Smaller Cos Trust PLC - invests in profitable smaller companies globally, individually in US, UK and Europe and via funds in Japan, Asia and Latin America - As announced in October, Nish Patel takes over as lead manager on Wednesday. Patel replaces Peter Ewins at manager Columbia Threadneedle Investment Business Ltd.

CVC Income & Growth Ltd - invests in senior secured loans and other sub-investment grade corporate credit - Chair Richard Boleat retires from board on Tuesday, having served on the board since the company's inception in 2013. Robert Kirkby is promoted from non-executive director to chair.
