Wed, 16th Dec 2020 15:28

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Wednesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Mitie Group PLC - Glasgow-based facilities management - Appoints Alan Lovell as non-executive director, starting January 1. Lovell is chair of Interserve Group Ltd, the former London listing that fell into administration in 2019. In June, Mitie agreed to buy Interserve's facilities management division for GBP271 million, a price later reduced to GBP190 million. "Alan's knowledge of Interserve Facilities Management's business, the acquisition of which we completed on 30th November, will be invaluable," says Mitie Chair Derek Mapp. Lovell also was part of the team that tried to restructure failed construction and outsourcing firm Carillion. He is non-executive chair of window maker Safestyle UK PLC and senior non-executive director of construction products firm SIG PLC. Mitie also extends the fixed-term contract of Chief Financial Officer Andrew Peeler to June 30 next year to allow time for a transition to a new permanent CFO.

----------

Headlam Group PLC - Birmingham-based floorcoverings distributor - Alison Littley to step down as non-executive director on March 31 next year. Will look for a replacement for Littley and also for an additional non-executive director during 2021.

----------

Tertiary Minerals PLC - mineral exploration and development in the US state of Nevada and in northern Europe - Hires Mike Armitage as independent non-executive director, starting after the annual general meeting on January 28. Armitage is employed by SRK Consulting (UK) Ltd, part of mining consultancy SRK Group, and has 35 years' experience in the mining industry.

----------

Kromek Group PLC - County Durham, England-based detection technology for medical, security screening and nuclear markets - Promotes Rakesh Sharma, a non-executive director who joined the board in October, to chair, replacing Peter Williams, who will retire on January 1. Also promotes Chief Operating Officer Berry Beumer to executive director, effective immediately. Beumer has been COO since 2015, based at Kromek's Pennsylvania facility in the US.

----------

accesso Technology Group PLC - Berkshire-headquartered software firm for leisure and entertainment markets - Appoints Jody Madden as non-executive director, starting January 1. Madden is CEO of Foundry, a London-based creative software developer for the media & entertainment and digital design industries.

----------

Mattioli Woods PLC - Leicester, England-based wealth management and employee benefits - Makes Barry Gilbertson the executive chair of subsidiary Custodian Capital Ltd, starting January 1. Gilbertson was senior independent non-executive director at Custodian REIT PLC, the property investment company for which CCL is the discretionary investment manager.
