DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Halfords CFO Sells Before Easyjet Departure

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Thursday.

Halfords Group said Chief Financial Officer Andrew Findlay sold 35,709 shares at a price of 540.6 pence per share Wednesday.

Following this transaction, worth GBP193,043, Findlay has no interest in the bike and car parts retailer.

Halfords said the reason for the transaction is for Findlay to purchase a property in preparation for the relocation of his family later this year. He will leave Halfords to take up the same position at low-cost carrier Easyjet in October.

Shares closed up 1.3% at 547.50p Thursday.

Kainos Group said Non-Executive Director Andy Malpass bought 22,590 shares at a price of 181.76 pence per share Wednesday constituting his only holding in the IT services, consulting and software solutions provider. Malpass also is finance director of trading, investment and information solutions provider Fidessa Group. Last Friday, Kainos made its debut on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. The company issued 37.7 million shares in the issue, raising GBP52.4 million and giving it a market capitalisation of GBP161.3 million at the start of dealings. Shares in the IT services, consulting and software solutions provider closed up 1.4% at 192.00p Thursday.

McKay Securities said Non-Executive Director Nick Shepherd bought 6,925 shares at a price of 252.5 pence per share Wednesday. The purchase is his only holding after being appointed in January. Shares in the property investment company closed up 1.2% at 253.18p Thursday.

IS Solutions said Chairman Barrie Clark sold 285,000 shares at a price of 50 pence per share. Clark is retiring as chairman at the end of the month. Following this transaction, he is interested in 206,000 shares, representing approximately 0.6% of the total issued ordinary share capital. Shares in the computer hardware company closed up 3.05 at 53.00p Thursday.

Workspace Group said Chief Financial Officer Graham Clement sold a total of 70,000 shares at a price of 944.76 pence per share. Following this transaction, Clement holds a beneficial interest in 101,736 shares. The stock closed trading up 1.4% at 959.00p Thursday.

Town Centre Securities said Finance Director Duncan Syers bought 9,783 shares at a price of 300 pence per share July 8. Following this transaction, Syers has a beneficial holding of 19,783 shares, representing 0.04% of the issued share capital. Shares in the property investment company closed up 0.1% at 301.70p Thursday.
