IS Solutions Says Data Insight Practice Division Established

Tue, 26th Apr 2016 09:49

LONDON (Alliance News) - IS Solutions PLC said Tuesday it has established a new Data Insight Practice team to expand its data offering after its recent business re-positioning.

The data and analystics company said earlier this month it was changing its name to D4t4 Solutions PLC in order to communicate its focus on data services.

IS Solutions said the Data Insight Practice section of the business will create value from data by identifying ares where its client can "do things differently", giving examples such as automation of data delivery, democratisation of data and driving insight for better strategic decision-making.

The company said this section will combine with its Data Collection, Data Management and Data Analysis sections to deliver a unified approach to the treatment of data, helping clients to monetise their information and better react to changing market conditions.

IS Solutions said Matthew Tod will lead the Data Insight Practice team.

Tod co-established digital analytics consultancy Logan Tod and Co in 2002 which was then acquired by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in 2012. At PricewaterhouseCoopers, Tod became a partner and later led the customer consulting group, which IS Solutions led to Tod "successfully building up PwC's digital transformation strategy capabilities".

"Data Insight has been the missing piece in our data solutions offering so, we are very pleased to establish this Practice as it completes our ability to offer an end-to-end service spanning the entire data lifecycle," said IS Solutions Chief Executive Peter Kear.

Shares in IS Solutions were up 2.4% at 129.00 pence on Tuesday.
