IQ-AI Ltd - medical software company with headquarters in Jersey - Launches IB Stroke, completing key new product introduction. IB Stroke available as set of workflows processed by IB Rad Tech platform and provides users with flexibility to process both MR and CT perfusion image sets.

"The IB Stroke output may be used by clinicians to help determine the usefulness of treating the patient with clot-busting drugs - drugs which can potentially save oxygen-starved brain tissue but bring with them a host of potential side-effects," says IQ-AI.

Current stock price: 5.34 pence; up 10% on Thursday

Year-to-date change: up 35%

IQ-AI Ltd - Jersey-based medical services firm - Says phase one clinical trial for oral gallium maltolate is open for enrolment. Patient recruitment in the trial is underway and potential volunteers that meet the inclusion criteria have already been identified, it notes. Phase one dose escalation study is designed to determine the optimal dose of GaM that can be administered safely. It is the first-in-human clinical trial for an oral form of GaM to be used in patients with high-grade brain tumours, it adds.
