LONDON (Alliance News) - Impact Healthcare REIT PLC is to launch a 12 month share placing programme, the health care property investment company said Tuesday, having spent the majority of funds raised in its float.
Impact will place up to 200 million new shares. Shares were quoted at 104.97 pence on Tuesday, up 1.4% on the day, and at that price Impact would raise around GBP209.9 million.
The real estate investment trust has, since its March 2017 initial public offering in London, committed "the majority" of the GBP240 million raised then, and it needs more cash to take advantage of its pipeline of care home acquisitions.
The investor is pursuing "a number" of potential investments, and the total number of possible acquisitions have a value of over GBP400 million. Twelve are near-term, and two could be completed soon.
