LONDON (Alliance News) - Regeneration and land development company Harworth Group PLC on Thursday said it has made progress in the first four months of the year and is trading in line with expectations.
Harworth Chief Executive Owen Michaelson, in a statement issued ahead of its annual general meeting, said residential development and sales have now started at the Pontefract project in Wales, while building work has started at the former Rossington Colliery site in Doncaster.
Harworth changed its name from Coalfield Resources PLC in March after having acquired Harworth Estates Property Group Ltd.
On the commercial side of the business, Harworth said construction has started on the second unit at the Logistics North site, and the group has three units under construction at Rockingham in Barnsley.
"As usual, we expect residential and commercial sales for the year to be weighted towards the second half and our performance continues to be in line with management's expectations," Michaelson said.
