LONDON (Alliance News) - Helical PLC Friday said a group of directors bought shares on Thursday as the company reported growth in rental income for the first half of its financial year.
Chief Executive Officer Gerald Kaye and Finance Director Tim Murphy each bought 34,825 shares at 287.14 pence each.
Melanie Bonning-Snook a connected person of Development Director Matthew Bonning-Snook, bought 17,350 shares at the same price.
Jane O'Donnell, a connected person of Non-Executive Director Michael O'Donnell, bought 5,000 shares at 281 pence each. Finally, Investment Director Duncan Walker bought a total of 9,051 shares at average price of 275.59p each.
The property developer on Thursday reported its net rental income grew in its first half, and it made a net gain on the sale and revaluation of its investment portfolio against a background of uncertainty.
Helical said its net rental income rose to GBP24.6 million from GBP20.8 million the prior year, and said its portfolio at the half year reflected passing rents of GBP39.0 million, contracted rents of a further GBP13.0 million and an estimated rental value of GBP78.0 million.
The stock was up 1.4% at 291.80p Friday.
