LONDON (Alliance News) - Golden Saint Resources Ltd said Tuesday that it had received written payment orders from the National Mineral Agency for the renewal of its three exploration licences in Baja, Tongo, and Moa in Sierra Leone.
It will now be making arrangements to pay for the three licences over the course of the next two weeks, after which it is confidence that the new licences will be granted.
Elsewhere, Golden Saint said that bulk sampling operations at Tongo are ongoing. During July it washed and processed 120 tonnes of gravels from which it has so far recovered 8.21 carats of diamonds in varying sizes, weights and colours, it said.
Shares in Golden Saint were up 13% at 0.0680 pence Tuesday.
