LONDON (Alliance News) - A Shanghai Court said on Tuesday that the trial of a foreign couple linked to GlaxoSmithKline PLC will start on August 8, Reuters reported.
British private investigator Peter Humphrey and his wife, Yu Yingzeng, were accused by Chinese prosecutors earlier this month of illegally obtaining private information.
The case involving Humphrey and Yu has become a key piece of the investigation by Chinese officials into Glaxo, which has seen its local executives charged with orchestrating a widespread network of bribery in order to promote sales.
