Gresham House Energy Storage Fund PLC - London-based utility-scale battery storage fund - Completes acquisition of a 25 megawatts battery project in North Shields, England from Rome, Italy-based Enel Global Thermal Generation SRL, a unit of Enel Spa, for an undisclosed amount. Says project is connected to the distribution network and generates availability-based contracted revenue from enhanced frequency response services provided to National Grid.
Adds construction of the 10 megawatts expansion of the Glassenbury portfolio in Kent, England has been completed, increasing operational capacity to 50 megawatts. Says it expects it to be commissioned by the end of the month. Following this, total operational capacity of Gresham House Energy's investment portfolio will be 350 megawatts across 13 projects.
