Exillon Energy Reports Second Consecutive Month Of Production Growth

Fri, 10th Oct 2014 08:16

LONDON (Alliance News) - Exillon Energy PLC, the oil producer with two oil assets in Russia, Friday reported its second consecutive month of increased production following production rate declines in July, June and May.

Average daily production from its two Russian assets reached 17,470 barrels per day during September, up from 16,927 barrels per day in August, following declines in the three months previous to August.

Exillon TP, in Timan-Pechora, saw a reduction in production of 3,605 barrels per day during the period from 3,678 barrels per day in August. However, this was more than offset by an increase in production at Exillon WS, in West Siberia, of 13,865 barrels per day from 13,249 barrels per day.

Peak daily production during September was 18,360 barrels, compared to 17,466 barrels in August.

The company did not disclose any reasons for the increase in production.

Exillon shares were trading flat at 154.00 pence per share Friday morning.
