ECR Minerals PLC - gold explorer with assets in Australia - Buys a property in Springmount within the Creswick licence area, which ECR owns, for AUD500,000, equivalent to GBP267,680. The property consists of 16 acres and will "provide a base for activities across the licence area as ECR advances its drilling programmes and, when appropriate, will be the site for development for the mine decline."

Current stock price: 1.84 pence, up 10% on Thursday

Year-to-date change: down 54%
