Canadian Overseas Petroleum Ltd - oil and gas exploration and development company focused on offshore Africa - Announces that its 50% owned joint venture company, Shoreline CanOverseas Petroleum Development Corp Ltd and Essar Exploration & Production Ltd have agreed to extend completion date to resolve disputes to January 29. Dispute relates to Shoreline CanOverseas and Essar's obligations under the Essar Exploration & Production Ltd agreement in Nigeria.
