(Alliance News) - Cenkos Securities PLC said Tuesday it has appointed Lisa Gordon as an independent non-executive director and to the position of chair.
The company said the appointment is subject to Financial Conduct Authority approval and will take effect once it has been received.
Jeff Hewitt, who has served as an acting chair since November 2018 will retire with effect from February 28, the company said.
Gordon is a non-executive director of Alpha FX Group PLC, an AIM listed corporate foreign exchange specialist. She is also the non-executive chair of Albert Technologies Ltd, an artificial intelligence technology business and a non-executive director of Magic Light Pictures Ltd, a film and television production company.
Hewitt said: "Lisa brings an impressive breadth and depth of boardroom experience and will be a valuable addition to the senior management team's experience for the continued development of Cenkos."
Cenkos Securities shares were trading 4.9% higher in London at 63.99 pence each on Tuesday.
