Shares in ViaLogy jumped on news that it has signed a deal with one of the largest privately held exploration and production companies in America to provide its QuantumRD services.ViaLogy, which develops Internet Protocol (IP) based sensor networks, did not comment on the financial details of the deal.Concurrent Technologies said it has had a year of good trading and customer growth despite difficult market conditions.'The cash position remains strong and the directors look forward to an improvement in market conditions by the time they announce the preliminary results in mid-April 2010,' the group said.Oil and gas explorer San Leon said its Polish subsidiary Vabush Energy has been awarded the Nida concession within the Malpolska block in southern Poland. The concession is valid for up to five years and covers a work programme which includes geological studies, seismic acquisition and a one well drilling obligation. There is an option for a 3D seismic survey and an additional well.Oisin Fanning, chairman of San Leon, said the concession should provide access to 'a proven fairway of underexplored conventional oil potential,' while the seismic evaluation 'will enable us to determine the potential of this play.'Cyprotex, the drug discovery technology and information company, sait it knows of no reason the sharp share price movement on 4 January. The company said it continues to trade in line with expectations.Scratch card and direct marketing firm DM Group said it saw steady organic growth in the second half of 2009, and reaped larger than expected benefits from the integration of recent acquisitions.
