Chesterfield Resources PLC - copper explorer focused on Cyprus - Raises GBP2.5 million from conditional placing and subscription of 27.8 million shares at a price of 9 pence each.

In late November, company landed GBP2.1 million investment from Polymetal International PLC. Gold miner will take 23.3 million shares in Chesterfield, while Fox Davies Capital Ltd picks up 1.1 million shares.

Current stock price: 14.60 pence

Year-to-date change: down sharply from 3.60p
