(Alliance News) - C&C Group PLC said Monday Interim Executive Chair Stewart Gilliland purchased shares in the company.

The Irish cider and beer maker said Gilliland bought 5,000 shares for a price of GBP3.7365 per share, totalling GBP18,682.

The company did not disclose how many shares Gilliland now holds following the transaction.

C&C shares were trading 1.1% lower in London at 372.00 pence each on Monday.
