(Alliance News) - Construction products maker Hill & Smith Holdings PLC has appointed former BT Group PLC finance executive Hannah Nichols to lead its finance operations.
Nichols will join Hill & Smith as chief financial officer, and also join the board, on September 16.
She was most recently BT's chief financial officer for Asia, the Middle East, & Africa at BT Global Services, which is based in Singapore. Before that, Nichols held "a number" of roles at Cable & Wireless.
Chief Executive Derek Muir commented: "I am delighted Hannah has agreed to join Hill & Smith as CFO. Hannah has an excellent track record of leading international finance teams and of developing finance to become a key business partner, something which will enable her to make a significant contribution to Hill & Smith's future success.
"I am very much looking forward to working with Hannah, and having her as a member of our senior team."
Hill & Smith will report results for the six months to June on August 7, it also said. Shares were untraded early Tuesday, last quoted at 1,177.00 pence each.
