LONDON (Dow Jones)--Libya's top oil official, Shokri Ghanem, Tuesday said he doesn't expect the country's push into deep-water oil drilling to be curtailed because of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. "I don't think it will impact our deep-water drilling," Ghanem told journalists on the sidelines of an industry conference in London. "This is part of the industry risks" of oil drilling, said Ghanem, who is head of Libya's national oil company, about the Gulf spill. -By Spencer Swartz, Dow Jones Newswires; +44 207 842 9357; spencer.swartz@dowjones.com (END) Dow Jones Newswires June 22, 2010 05:52 ET (09:52 GMT)
