LONDON, July 23 (Reuters) - The North Sea's Forties PipelineSystem, which transports crude underpinning the Brent benchmark,is operating under a "minor" restriction on flows likely to lasta further week or so, operator BP said on Tuesday.
The restriction is due to work on two of the trains whichprocess the oil at the Kinneil terminal, BP said in an emailedstatement. It comes ahead of a planned Aug. 1-5 shutdown of theForties pipeline for maintenance.
"There are likely to be some further throughput restrictionstowards the end of August which could last until the return ofTrain 1, which is planned for mid-September," BP said. (Reporting by Alex Lawler; editing by Keiron Henderson)
