HOUSTON, Sept 18 (Reuters) - A 27,500 barrel-per-day (bpd)coking unit was returning to production on Wednesday at BP Plc and Husky Energy's 135,000 bpd joint-venturerefinery in Toledo, Ohio, according to sources familiar withoperations at the refinery.
The coker was shut on Aug. 31 for planned work and beganrestarting on Monday, according to Energy industry intelligencegroup Genscape.
A coking unit boosts the amount of refinable materialobtained from a barrel of oil and converts residual crude topetroleum coke, a coal substitute. (Reporting by Erwin Seba)
