Bezant Resources Appoints Non-Executive Chairman

LONDON (Alliance News) - Bezant Resources PLC said Tuesday that it has appointed Edward Nealon as non-executive chairman with immediate effect.

The AIM-listed copper-gold exploration and development company, which operates in the Philippines and Argentina, said that Nealon succeeds Dr Evan Kirby who will assume his former role of non-executive director, also with immediate effect.

Nealon is a geologist with more than 40 years' experience in the mining and exploration industry. He is currently non-executive chairman of Ferrum Crescent Ltd, the AIM-listed iron ore mining company, and non-executive chairman of Richland Resources Ltd, the AIM-listed miner of coloured gemstones. Nealon has held roles at Rio Tinto PLC and operatied his own mining consultancy practice, through which he founded Aquarius Platinum Ltd and Sylvania Resources Ltd.
