Aminex PLC - oil and gas investment in Tanzania - Acquires land required for Ntorya to Madimba pipeline. Says Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation gives firm commitment to first gas at Ntorya by mid-2025. Says TPDC is constructing pipeline, expects to issue construction tender in July. Chair Charles Santo says: "We are very appreciative of the TPDC's update on the Pipeline, the construction of which is a critical milestone in bringing Ntorya gas to the people of Tanzania. We wish to note the professionalism and commitment of the TPDC and highlight the importance the Tanzanian Government attaches to completing the Pipeline as soon as possible. This commitment is rooted in Ntorya's importance in helping to relieve energy poverty and improve energy security for the people of Tanzania. Although this construction is outside our control, we will endeavour to keep shareholders updated as we receive information from the TPDC as construction proceeds".

(Alliance News) - Both Aminex PLC and Scirocco Energy PLC said on Monday noted the Tanzanian government's commitment to developing additional gas resources on the Ruvuma asset "as soon as possible".

IN BRIEF: Aminex half-year loss narrows as touts progress in Tanzania

Aminex PLC - Leeds, England-based oil & gas investment company focused on Tanzania - Last Friday said operations in Tanzania progress as posted interim results. In the half-year ended June 30, pretax loss narrows to USD1.3 million from USD1.6 million a year prior. Revenue drops to USD26,000 from USD86,000. Cost of sales narrows to USD129,000 from USD308,000. Firm expects seismic full acquisition of data regarding Ruvuma operation in Tanzania to be completed soon. Spudding of Chikumbi-1 on schedule to start in November.

Scirocco Energy PLC - Leeds, England-based oil & gas investment company - Notes announcement from Animex PLC on the Ruvuma PSA in Tanzania, which said it was pleased at over half of seismic data being acquired over the Ntorya location, and expects the full acquisition to be completed by the middle of October.
