7digital inks deals with rights tech company

(Sharecast News) - Digital music solutions outfit 7digital has inked a contract with rights tech company Dubset Media.7digital will provide Dubset with access to its music platform for an initial one year period, assisting Dubset in enhancing its proprietary MixSCAN recognition technologies which identifies, claims, and collects royalties for labels and publishers when their catalogues are found within mix content.While 7digital did not disclose any commercial terms, the AIM-listed firm told investors on Thursday that the deal would contribute to its monthly recurring revenues for 2019 and also stated that it would receive "a significant set-up fee".Chief executive Simon Cole said: "We're delighted to be using our platform to partner with Dubset and deliver value both to the music industry and to individual creators."Elsewhere, 7digital revealed that had entered into a "significant partnership" in the "connected car" sector.7digital will pre-integrate its IP radio services and APIs into software solutions provider Access' recently launched ACCESS Twine for Car multimedia content service platform for automotive manufacturers.As of 0810 GMT, 7digital shares had slid 7.15% to 1.05p.
