Advanced Oncotheraphy has landed a five-year deal with Toshiba Electron Tubes & Devices to launch the firm's Light proton therapy machine.Under the agreement, Toshiba will supply Klystron, a wave-based particle accelerator component for Advanced Oncotherapy's Light machine, which uses proton-radiation therapy to kill cancer cells.Chief executive Sanjeev Pandya said: "This agreement demonstrates our unique commitment to work with established leaders who will provide quality components required for the successful development of the next generation of particle therapy systems."As of 11:49 the share price had risen 2.74% to 3.7p.WS
