Welcome to the latest London South East/focusIR CEO interview. Today we are joined by Raluca Saceanu, CEO at Smarttech247 (S247), the growth-focused AIM-listed cybersecurity business based in Cork.

Smarttech247 launched on AIM in December last year, was subsequently named Cybersecurity Company of the Year and has a market cap of around £43M currently.

In Raluca's words: "We are a cybersecurity organisation and we secure some of the world's largest companies. Through our AI-enhanced platform VisionX we provide next -generation Managed Detection & Response capability. These include monitoring, threat vulnerability management, threat intelligence, cyber security validation and dynamic risk governance.

"In the marketplace we stand as a trusted provider and we are known for our experience, for innovation as well as for our practical approach."

Raluca answered the following questions in our interview.

1. There are other listed and non-listed companies providing cybersecurity packages, so what differentiates you?

2. Smarttech listed on AIM in December, presumably a major milestone for the company as you raised money to grow the business. So what have the last few months been like, and what comes next?

3. If you could tell us about a couple of your typical clients and which services you provide for them?

4. What are your plans to build the client base and grow the business?

5. Will you enter into more partnerships like the one with Forcepoint to broaden your offering to the clients? Is that proving a good and profitable fit?

6. What does the balance sheet look like currently and are you comfortably financed to fund your growth plans such as the expansion into new geographies?

7. I understand you are a keen advocate of diversity in the tech industry and have launched the Women in Cybersecurity Academy. What difference do you hope this makes?

8. Finally, what can S247 shareholders look forward to over the next 12 months; what do you expect the newsflow to look like?
