Hi, can someone explain the term 'Market Size' with regards to a particular stock? i.e. The stock has a 2M MCap and the 'Market Size' is 200,000. Many thanks in advance.
The full name is Normal Market Size, the minimum number of securities for which a market maker is obliged to quote firm bid and ask prices. This supplies liquidity into the market, for those interested further there is more detail on: https://www.investopedia.com/terms/n/normalmarketsize.asp
