International Public Partnerships Share Price (INPP)

Hi again Silverblade. I make that over £60,000,000 spent by the Trust on their own shares and not yet reflected in the SP. They know what they are doing and when the market realizes I expect a rather sharp upward correction. In the meantime there are that many less shares to service with dividends, which means they are likely to increase per share, which is fine by me. Now one of my largest (and safest) investments! I hear you oldbut!! In the meantime - UK 10 year bond yield continues to creep up close to its 5 year high - with resultant negative impact on majority of infra funds this week. INPP still spending c.£500k a day on buybacks......SB

Agreed Silverblade. Chart shows a slow but perceptable change. Been here since the start and added periodically. Its time will come but I may not be around to see it!

Buyback programme looks to be making an impact - they have ramped up scale and are now purchasing 425k shares a day - 3%+ of total shares now held in treasury and off market. Interest rates reducing helps investor sentiment - but bond yields still high and lots of government debt to refinance. Hopefully we will see the NAV discount continuing to reduce. INPP is something of a hybrid when compared to 3iN - with INPP holding investments in historical PPP/PFI debt; regulated infrastructure assets as well as operating businesses. 3iN is more geared to operating businesses - its PPP portfolio was divested some time ago. INPP NAV valuation largely based on discounted cash flow methodologies - but this does not reflect underlying operating business valuations - which is where there is scope for INPP to realise significant balance sheet value imo.
