Hi Giraffe and thanks for posting. It interesting to see my post from Dec 2023 and "if the SP hits ~AUD2.5". The SP made a new high of 3.72 yesterday with gold at about USD 3300.

I was right to be wary of the Sudan and we'll see what happens in Tanzania where at the moment there seems to be some optimism.

I'm still looking for a take over by a company listed on an exchange that my broker engages with or a cash offer. Is the current price of gold and it being on a rising trend conducive to sector M&A activity?

Since the chat here is about trading, I am pleased to say you can trade with Trading212. Especially with Gold being so much in demand and not looking like that is going to calm down for quite a while, I think this is a good investment as the price has gone up since all the last posts

I have a load of perseus and have the dividends paid into my bank ,I’ve used invest direct for 55 years when perseus bought Amara mining invest direct no longer dealt with perseus , although I’ve done very well with perseus I can’t sell them ,

My broker doesn't trade ASX listed shares. I can't buy only sell and that's through HSBC as an intermediary. I'd like a takeover by US or UK listed miner. Alternatively if the SP hits ~AUD2.5 again I might bail out and buy into another gold miner / producer or ETF / ETC.

I'm slightly concerned about recent moves into Sudan and Tanzania. I appreciate that they need to do something with the cash to grow the company.
