I have been keeping an eye on these wondering whether to invest.Good news is that they werent overloaded with Comets. I have taken the view that Comet are the last major retail aprk casualty and suspect some funds are looking to kickstart another electrical retailer in the marketplace to take on Currys and take some space just like B&M were moved in to replace Focus Metric have been able to buy existing income at fairly advantageous yields.Asset mangement is really down to splitting a large unit say an MFI .aggressively market empty units . securing longer elases and hopefully trying to get the likes of Next ,Home Bargains B&M in so nothing particuarly magic there The good news is that their portfolio should show a healthy valuation surplus as the market picks up so a good solid invest I will certainly buy in the Newyear if i can pick up some stick for under 100p

Panmure Gordon restated its "buy" rating for Metric Property Investments (METP) with a 137p target price. Commenting on the group following results, the broker said the investment outlook remains encouraging as the company looks to have a strong strategy in place to improve the rent roll from its portfolio through active asset management. Furthermore, with more retail property expected to be offered for sale in 2011 as banks look to reduce real estate exposure, Panmure believes Metric remains well placed through access to new debt to pick up further value-creating acquisitions. The shares were down 0.625p to 109.375p.

Powabyke EV, a subsidiary of PLUS-quoted Metroelectric* (METP), has signed a distribution agreement with the Brandsco to represent the UK's largest electric bike company in the US. The agreement, which will run for an initial period of fifteen years and gives Brandsco exclusive distribution rights within the US, includes an up front exclusivity fee of 100,000 pounds and is subject to achieving minimum agreed sales. Metroelectric shares were untouched at 0.85p.
