If that doesn't shout confidence in company performance......
& as soon as any news of who may be joining the board (& i would expect some big names who will be able to open some doors) so interesting times, Maybe new board members have allready been found & they are just working out the deal !
At this level. I’m a long term holder here but even as a short term play this screams buy and hold until March
its just doing what all aimers do m8...bottom out, then bounce.lol..even without any news
down to the value of Tern alone. Everything else in for nothing.
Yeah, it seems to have some good support around this area and last time it hit 0.38 it went over 0.70 within two months.
lots of buys there. Eventually, .40 will run out and we can move up.
Definitely rock bottom, a share which has never been in favour.
only one mm holding it back and book being smashed
Looks like someone is off loading and has been for a while my bet is still Richard Farmrbough ex head of REEF. This will correct itself, we have 3 mill plus in cash and expecting closer to 750k/1mill profit in interim's. I bet this starts to motor after the turn of this year. Any netflix deal as highlighted by BMR will send this into space!
chill guys all will be well look recent RNS revenues are going to be way past last year. Sit tight for interim's and we will be back up there
A few buys coming in now - it's a bargain at these levels with the added bonus that a deal with Netflix could land at any moment. See my previous post regarding Netflix.
The old Ten Alps stigma is still hung around it's neck.
I did mention that it might retest the 52 week low of 0.38. Just hope it can hold from here. We've had some very good news recently but it's not helping to keep the SP up. Things can only improve from here.
More like sink media. What a complete pile of shit. Maybe they've asked that useless **** after 2 years of abject faliure to get the sp moving. Here's to 0.10p
It's a shame David Galan is leaving but I think we can get somebody in with more relevant experience. I believe his background wasn't media related anyway. David has helped turn the business around but obviously more work is required.
Jonathan Goodwin was on about £30k a year and only turned up to 2 out of 7 board meetings, so I doubt he added much value. Harry Bell is a great addition to the board.
Hopefully we will get the right person to replace David in 2019.
Channel 4 has recently moved a lot of their business outside of London and have chosen Leeds as their national headquarters. Manchester was one of the other potential hosts (Blakeway North is located in Manchester). However, Channel 4 are to open two new creative hubs in Bristol and Glasgow which is good for ZM. We have just opened a new office in Bristol and we have Tern Television based in Scotland.
We also have the BBC that are investing £20m in a new TV channel to be broadcast from March 2019, and intends to invest a further £20m in increased Network production from Scotland. Again, Tern should benefit from this.
Hopefully 2019 will be a transformational year!
I’ve noticed a bit of chatter about Zinc Media being in talks with Netflix so decided to do some digging… I found the below article about Amazon and Netflix and it contains information regarding Greg Sanderson, MD of Brook Lapping, talking about Netflix – very interesting article.
https://rts.org.uk/article/reframing-documentary-how-amazon-and-netflix-are-changing-factual-television
I also came across this in the company’s accounts that were posted to the website on 2nd November:
“Brook Lapping’s revenue was substantially down on its target this year. Apart from the industry changes listed above, the pursuit of larger commissions in the US market has taken time to produce results and been slower than anticipated. Brook Lapping has been trying to enter the US market, not just for co-productions but for bespoke commissions. Brook Lapping has pursued Netflix, National Geographic and CNN with high end series ideas. Positive relationships have been forged in the international market and Brook Lapping has in the past few weeks been commissioned by National Geographic for a substantial long-running history series worth over $2m for 18/19 and is in continuing conversations with Netflix in the documentary genres.”
So it appears that we are in talks with Netflix. I just hope we can win a commission or two from them, and maintain them as a regular customer. It would most certainly transform Zinc Media!
in the drop yesterday before the RNS today. After reading the shares were issued at a price of 0.475 I was expecting it to jump up a little. At least most of the earn-out was paid in cash, and Herald was happy to convert some preference shares at the same time. Anyone know how many preference shares they have left to convert? Or was that just a one off?
Still think this is cheap and hopefully will start to move up closer to Xmas. It's a hold for me until interim results in March. If they haven't increased profits by then, something must be wrong.
See you next Tuesday of a share! Makes zero sense!
It's a crap share which went from pounds to pence. Been at this level for a year. Another Aim dog.
$6m worth of revenue into a £6m MC company... That kind of makes us sound pretty cheap!
Expect a few more like that before the end of the year, and hopefully some new US customers, we have worked with Nat Geo and HBO in the past. I think the best is yet to come, it's only a matter of time!
Taking the order book called out at the finals and this award then revenue for the year already slated to be higher than last year with the majority of the period still to come. Top news that might, finally, get the SP moving up...
