Blah. Blah Blah. It's still Shit.
I was checking out Mark's LinkedIn profile and saw some great recommendations on his page. I have pasted them below. I think Mark will have some very strong contacts throughout the media world and he could even help us to break into the US market...
“Mark was programme director for TLRC whilst I was MD at the NRG, we were peers. Mark has a rare mix within the world of radio, managing to be deeply analytical with regard programming strategy whilst also taking a team on the same journey.
Talent management is in my view also a strong point, a calm and reasoned approach no matter what the issue quickly addresses the key issues for best outcome without theatricals.”
“Mark is one of the greats in this industry. He is unmatched in terms of his knowledge of his profession, his attention to detail and his extraordinary skill in managing talent, both on-air and off-air. Intelligent and with a deep interest in all aspects of the industry, Mark has a clear grasp of the context in which he works, and a keen understanding of its strategic issues. On top of all this, he has a genuine charm that makes him easy to work with and inspires confidence. Having taken Heart 106.2 to the number one spot in London, his track record speaks for itself.”
“Mark's intelligence is profound, as is his pragmatic and very balanced approach to business. His people management and communicative skills are world class. Warm but Assertive, Humility but confidence, makes time for everyone and does so genuinely.”
bout time! now lets see some movement
nice m8.
Mark Browning looks like an excellent appointment for us. I think he can steer the company to further success. I'm sure 2019 will be a much better year for us but it would be nice to finish 2018 a bit higher!
All the best.
Based on their trading update today I'm wondering should we have bought them out when we had the chance? Answer, probably yes!
They seem to be growing organically and I think that's what Zinc Media need to do. No more acquisitions, just grow and become a much stronger and more profitable company. March results will tell us if that's happening or not. Would love a Netflix deal before Xmas! But I'll also wait till early 2019 for it..
You have nothing to contribute. Jog on you bell end
Nothing. That's what you will hear.
Looks like news could be due. Netflix, director appointment or trading statement. Watch this space...
I can't believe looking at the directors holdings and purchases this can do anything but improve come march. Has anyone else seen the share price if you Google it nearly gave me a heartattack. I wonder if we will hear anything before Xmas?
ROTFLMAO ? WTFDTM?
Yes agree absolutely useless.
Sold my lot at 7p and lost a few K. Once in a while like to check in as one does see what's happening. Same old blaggers, sweating their assets.
Regular tools will no doubt tell us look price dropped, what a great opportunity to buy some more. ROTFLMAO.
Been in here two years ago approximately. Useless. Another company-plenty of work so we're told. Has hardly moved in years. Useless.
A Blakeway production with Tony Robinson of Time Team is being shown tonight on Channel 5, this seems to be getting some good reviews & this looks like being very popular, & interesting to see a Zinc Media company being chosen to produce it. Other interesting news i read was Chanel 5 may be getting more into Documentary productions after deciding to finish producing big brother. Does that mean more work for Zinc ? It would appear so looking at this
Egyptian tomb hunting Production.
Did anyone catch any of the zinc productions of the past week ?? There were the armistice programmes on radio 4 at 9.45am each day (blakeway), Inside Obama's Wite House has also been repeated on sundays at 11.30pm on BBC2 & on Saturday night there was a Reef production - "Holst & Vaughan Williams," was show on BBC2 at 9pm.
It looks like Zinc companies are collecting the commissions & doing quality work, Zinc has turned around & work is flowing in, i can't wait until the new board members names are released, I am sure that they will be able to open more doors, people with contacts in the right places would be good for zinc.
