Hi adekela. It was just a gut feeling not a prediction.
I can't say that it will occur or at what price if it does.
Obviously, I hope it doesn't get taken over as I think we have more to offer.
Just looking at the size of the large players in the market, the lackluster showing of some of the big ones. It would seem logical to me that they would try to buy improvement from a small rapidly growing company that seems to be gaining market share. Also I factor in the possibility of what increased use of AI may do to the potential demand in the market overall in the coming years.
I'm not planning on selling any time soon, but I don't know what will happen here.

P.S I get it wrong about as often as I get it right.
Never happen unless friendly takeover as BK has over 50%
I am convinced he wants to grow a billion pound company and I have no doubt they can do it in 3 years if they continue on this path
How many multiples of today's SP?
Fair enough!
Wrong Sheltie!
I'm here from £1.
"Starting to get worried". . .yet this is your first post here. Maybe you have just bought in today and are now doing a little ramp?! #justsaying!
Look at the MCAP on Octopus!
Starting to get worried we may get taken out by a big player for multiples of our current price and never reach our full potential.

Still some sellers around which is surprising at this level with a PE of 8 and estimated over £112m in cash year end
Each to there own, personally think totally insane
Bit of a bounce this morning, still a lot of £10k+ sales, but could just be quick trades from yesterday's lows.
And still a big quoted spread.
1670 paid, happy with that.
Long term for me
Struggling to get a quote, ?
Big bounce coming ?
Did today's sharp fall have any connection with a parliamentary session about energy ? A leading newspaper: "Mr O’Shea, the chief executive of British Gas-owner Centrica, told MPs on the Commons energy select committee: 'We think that in order to have the proper smart grid that’s required to keep costs low in the future, everybody should have a smart meter'."
100% agree and yes today was a massive attack on stops which cascaded and way way way over done.
PE in the 8 range now, incredible MC down to 270m and we could have way over 40 % of MC in cash this year
Octopus is in the news today as major holders upped their stakes.
Has there been any hint that they may tackle the business market? I can't see anything, but the holdings was US news and the drop in Yu was just after US market open.
I can't see anything Starmer has said that would cause a drop.
Irrespective of today, I would still like to see a move to the Main Market myself . . . this company is simply too good for the total nonsense that goes on when listed on AIM.
Well that was fun tree-shake! It sure as hell wasn't anything to do with a Director selling! I personally can only assume that a Market Maker has an order which he/she cannot, at present fulfill; hence 'shaking the tree' to encourage panic sells. Which they duly mop-up. Tomorrow will be really intriguing. ATB
A holder on ADVFN got stopped out at 1590, he is gutted it’s like the market went all out for stops
Played like a fiddle today and the smell of fear just like May last year.
Only 5 weeks ago all told business is booming nothing has changed yet the panic today just incredible anyone would think we are tech stock on a huge PE not a PE of 8
MMs can see Stop Losses that PIs place, so maybe there was a sudden drop to collect a few big ones?
Price rising back up again now.
Basically that’s it
That's a few days old, something else must be spooking it.

Worst day for SP in a long time
I have been in contact with IR.
There will be no trading update with the AGM. The IR website calendar has been corrected and now reads "AGM and AGM Results Statement" (ie results of the voting).
The next officially expected trading update is therefore after H1, normally in late July. However, they may update the market, similar to last year, with an RNS at the end of May / early June.
Thanks for the link, JL - very interesting
"But what makes you think the 375k movement was a buy? It's listed as "unknown"?"
The buy/sell/unknown indicators are just an estimate.
Have a read of this to get an idea how it works.
