On share centre I am getting offered:
64.75 to buy
61.60 to sell
It is not just YU - No trade plan options available tried three other stocks on Iweb
"No trade plans options available" so I can't put in an order to buy below 64.75p (but not going to NT).
Both here and on twitter I have read a few things that could possibly be going on:
1. Shorts closing
2. Someone buying in chunks to build a large holding (Has to be done slowly given the low number of shares in circulation)
3. Steady sell off of a large holder (Potentially one of the II's but I doubt it given the SP could have easily dropped further if they were distressed and selling in volume)
4. MM's are absorbing a volume of shares knowing they can move them on at potentially a 100%+ premium in a weeks time (given the are aware that news will be significant and positive)
5. The drip of sells as a result of Covid19 has allowed a steady slide down to he current level which means we may have to wait a little longer to see a steady climb back to a more reasonable level.
One thing is for sure: There are not many businesses on AIM that have more cash in the bank than the MCap (That should be a good enough indication that YU from this level is a safe bet)
They will drop us to 60 to 65 shortly amazing when days of buys. Its basic psychology.
I am hopeful We are going to bounce very hard soon, something is happening around 65p and I am sure we are close to whatever is happening concludes
Just bought 753 shares and it’s showing as a sell instead of buy? Fishy ...
okay.
Just tried a dummy trade can buy 1000 shares at 64.999p.
Let's see what happens later this afternoon.
The system accounting in place now come what may will give a gross north of 27% minimum so please tell me where you get your figures from ? in order to lose that kind of money they would have to give away every bit of electric they sell in one year. your talking complete cr-p You seem to forget everything sale's driven is controlled by balance and counter price policy and yes that is taking into account bad dept beyond 15 days going from memory . up to this point I think the average for invoicing is currently 9 days and no longer than that.
It may not be your fault that the SP has dropped but you are responsible for the use of the buy/sell button with your broker. Complaining on here will not help your position.
All we can do is wait for news. I personally think it will be good and as such have continued to top up over the past weeks.
How long will the cash pile last if they suddenly make £80 - £100m losses?
It's not me that has dropped the sp to 65p - I'm nursing losses from 190p, 171p, 150p, etc etc etc etc & etc
Let's look on the bright side - oh there isn't any yet.
Good point
only the strong will survive and that creates huge opportunity to the survivors. Cash pile and new set up with Smartest was perfectly timed
Not to mention Yu can scale their own growth plans and wholesale energy costs have gone even lower...
If Yu. cannot survive no one will ? have you really no idea of the cash position here, by my reckoning with there cash burn the trouble we find are self's in would have to last 7 yrs keep this in mind when your looking at your other investments.
That's your second subtle deramp of the week.
Don't worry, I will buy the shares you don't want.
I don't think results, when released next week, will help much. BBC reports :
"Nearly a fifth of all small and medium-sized businesses in the UK are unlikely to get the cash they need to survive the next four weeks, in spite of unprecedented government support.
That's according to research published today, which suggests that between 800,000 and a million businesses nationwide may soon have to close".
I had targeted today to buy a few but now not sure I am going to take the chance even below 65p! Let's hope YU survives
The price all day has been no more than 61.67 ? All these after hour non reported buy'S are covering the brokers shorts from January . They have malipulated this share beyond what I think is in anyway legal but what the heck they don't give a sh-t whose to stop them, every trick been used here. shorting is robbery been past of as giving the market liquidity ? What utter sh-t .
What the hell is the nomad doing except counting his money for licensing this fraud. Yu. Energy need to get out of this scam as you have to wonder what's there involvement . Anyway that over with here,s to the quite obvious 68% rise next week , more poker been played here than investment.
But sells are 61p and of that size I doubt very much a sell.
So must be a worked buy, just my guess but a broker took the 150k and has a buyer they are off loading to a buyer at 65p
There cannot be much left of the 150k now, I would not b surprised a to a big up day soon
Another 25,000 trade at the end of the day (Shown on the London Stock Exchange site)
16:29:10 / 31-Mar-2020 / 65.00 GBX / 25,000/ £16,250.00
I cant imagine it is a buy given that that the majority of todays buys were above 66.25p
If it does happen to be a buy they must have a great broker.
Something is definitely being worked at 65p.
Actual spread is 61 to 66
Yesterday was 61 to 65
I believe we have a overhang after the 150k sell at 68p
Can’t be much left now, once that goes we are off
Hi everyone, I’m new on here but have been trading Yu stock for over a year now. Couple of questions yesterday I bought 10k shares and the trade came up as unknown, why is this?
Also, when today has been nearly all buys across the board why has the SP gone down?
Many thanks for any feedback and fingers crossed Yu comes out the other end of this in a good place.....
I agree to some extent , but I do expect YU. like 90% of all business in the UK to take a COVID 19 hit
1. Turnover - not as much Ultility usage, but I think new business should counter this
2. Risk of Bad debts increasing, YU have reset the books and got rid of the rubbish so yes I expect some issues in this area but not as significant if this had happened 2 years ago.
So yes one of the more solid sectors to hold during these difficult times and with Market Cap £3M less than cash cannot see much more downside.
Sparky - yes you could very well be right there, fingers crossed ay. One thing I will say is that this is one of only a few shares where your money is relatively safe in the current climate!
My personal view is we have a overhang from that 150K sell, cant be much left now if that's the case.
25,000 @ 65p = £16,250.00 - 16:23
Exactly as I said before - Small sellers just handed their shares over to a bigger buyer @ 65p - Daylight robbery.
