I wonder if those selling and taking the profit are going to really regret doing so in a week or two? (or by tomorrow afternoon the way things are going :) )
I'm sure they are going to be very p off with their decision by the time first income from FB is released in a few months. I've no idea what sp will be then but its as good as certain it will be higher than when they sold today !
Only 17 posts today, best share P increase in months and very little noise on here?
Fully locked and overloaded now.
Broke my own rule earlier on as well.
NT for anything over 20 quid on Halifax
maybe Ted has cashed in all his outer outer wherevers - very few humans have ever been - plays and is incrementally putting the lot in here ?
Well I’ve just bought a £3k top up so I think it will fall now!
I predict price will jump again shortly
Jump to 10p! Captain
Jumped to 2.17 ask?!?
Peruvian copper exports fell 20% in the first two months of the year as production climbed, leaving miners with mounting inventory and contributing to tight global supplies.
The world’s No. 2 copper producer is recovering from its worst social unrest in decades, which triggered consecutive economic contractions in January and February. Meanwhile, copper production rose by 5% in the same period.
SIGN UP FOR THE COPPER DIGEST
Although the unrest has all but faded, miners are struggling with a fresh challenge: moving tens of thousands of tons of copper concentrate from the Andes onto seaports to be shipped and sold. MMG Ltd. said in March it had 85,000 tons of copper stored in its Las Bambas mine and that it would take until the last quarter of the year to ship it all.
BR, relatively, close to the coast.....
We have a couple or so weeks to wait for the pre-concentration study for which the updated conceptual study can then be completed once Capital and Op costs for revised plant are known to produce long awaited NPV/IRR figures. The interim report to ‘Xtract’ would have given the recommendations toward optimisation drilling already, directed to increase tonnage, NPV and asset value.
Q3 earliest for drilling to commence i would say, it’s stated that once results of pre- concentration are known along with the drill planning, they will be able to finalise ongoing plans for BR.
Needs to be paid for too so is not likely to start until after updated conceptual study regardless.
The last RNS indicated that further drilling was planned. But it’s been all quiet since then. I just wish we’d get a plan with timescales soon, so we can judge when we are looking at an eventual BR sale. Sadly, I personally don’t see this happening this year.
Re future POC.
There is a de-factor world recession. May be not a technical recession as GDP is not falling 2 consecutive quarters, but as good as a recession. POC should be on its knees because of the world economic slump / recession, but it has held up remarkably well against imho massive head winds.
When the world economy starts to improve, and maybe thats now happening re china, you dont need to be an expert to know what's going to happen to POC. And that's in a a normal economic cycle without the massive added incentive and tail winds of the Green Revolution further increasing copper demand.
Although the future POC will no doubt hit 6lb ($13K), I dont know if that will be in the next 1, 2 or 3 years. So we may have a bit longer to wait.
More by luck than good planning, the no sale by CB last year could be very fortuitous :)
I'll be glad when Sp gets back to 8p which is 4x more than its current value. Invested here at 5p levels before all Gold stocks dipped.
Reports coming out of China that demand is picking up for copper, minerals etc as the chinese economy rebounds after Covid lockdown, this will drive sp of mining company’s like XRP upwards from what have been historic lows due to economic inactivity during the covid years.
G600 I think the sp is going up and its not just Halifax.
I paid 2p for 241160 shares my last top up 2p an under.
Halifax after a premium: XTR - XTRACT RESOURCES ORD GBP0.0002 at a price of 2.09p even for £1k

To potentially answer my own question. A repost from couple weeks ago.
HZ >>> Empress have a debt facility in place confirmed by Alexandra W Sherron of up to 50 million with 5million earmarked for any further development work at their 3 producing streams which includes Manica. ??Ties in nicely with CB’s suggestion that a decision will need to be made in the next couple or three months to go ahead with plant extension to accept all other ore types.

Hi Dani
The NPV is not an asset valuation, but an investment guide of worth from its lifetime. But will go a long way to support a higher market cap.
Where caravel are concerned they will suffer huge dilution by giving away lots of their 1.1B NPV to get to development stage. Generally, once an NPV is known, unless a company with an intent to mine it, already has the financing in place to take the project into the development stage some of that NPV will be given away in either huge dilution, or to a partner to achieve that. Where Xtract have a sell on, on valuation there will be a further discount to the acquirer, on top of the discounted cash flow that takes into account the cost to build the mine. The figure is roughly 20% but by reducing the Cap costs with smaller plant the discount on valuing would be less one would assume.
As far as I understand MMP are the processing contractor on all of the gold bearing deposits throughout the concession and xtract receive 23% of all hard rock after tax and costs subject to gold price. The agreement was for NMP to build the plant but not sure if the agreement would be the same for plant mods later to accept sulphides. I would guess so.
Anyone?
Can’t be a persistent seller taking a little profit. Otherwise my buy order would have been filled.
My last buy was at 1.99 for at 1406hrs. Managed around 250k today
circa 45% rise in less than 3 weeks will always attract profit takers I guess.
I don't think its a persistent seller, just some taking a good profit who bought in sub 1.5p may be?
Underlying trend is still up.........atm anyway :)
Spoke to soon....Seller on form as per.....
Just managed to top up again 201449 shares @ 1.9799
Took a long time
Aussies are a mining nation and far more knowledgeable than most uk private investors. I doubt Colin would have been able to have driven the mc there as easy as he did here. They would have seen straight through his early agenda.
