Previous talk back in March of developing Fairbride plant to treat all ore types and potentially to increase throughput with those higher sulphide grades, was mentioned by Colin they would need to make a decision in the next few months.
The mods would need to be in place before the defined shallow oxides have been mined so there is a smooth transition of ROM feed if plant capacities are to be maintained. There are no doubt further exploration potential from current activity around the existing pit to increase the oxide/sulphide material and 4 further areas with defined reserves that can be put through the plant.
But, to exploit fairbride pit first of all gold bearing ore to maximise return, as per DFS, the ‘defined’ oxide material will be depleted within two years and fresh material will gradually be introduced until year four, thereafter only fresh material will be processed.
The plant mods would need to be in place before then for that transition to exploit any ore feed particularly the deeper higher grade ore in the current defined reserves.
I think what has largely gone unnoticed is that a feasibility study has ‘already’ commenced to extend the plant. (Per 6th April RNS) This is a really positive and exciting step.
Back in 2017 the project had After-tax Internal Rate of Return of 41.1% at a gold price of US$ 1,262 per ounce and NPV of US$ 42 million@ 8.4% discount rate.
The rise in gold price since will have had a big impact on mine economics that includes those defined sulphides, so is difficult to see how upgrades will not be a viable case when that study is returned shortly.
Why can't a certain somebody take the hint and FO ?
Nobody wants MB on this BB comprende ?
You know, the one who probably cries none stop if she isn't being all things at once.
TTFN please.
And leave off the KET and MDMA

>>>Can you give me an example of Why ascost tonnage not be included in with rest of RC tonnage when calculating NPV?
There is only a need to produce an economically viable study for an initial start up mine to ‘trigger the AA option’. There are no mining rates per month/annum stated in the agreement for a decision to mine. RC may tick that box alone as all resource optimisation talk is pointing toward RC at present.
Being free of the binding agreement i still, I believe the main objective as has always been.
Howezap is being pulled into the bewildering hallucinogenic world that occupies a vacuous space in someone's cranial cavity.
😂that is ‘your’ opinion LW, so you cannot possibly be wrong!
You still haven’t read the book yet that I recommended then Dani lol
I really wouldn’t worry about what anyone else thinks.

Long life, low cost ore body ✅
Logical acquirer next door ✅
Hi Howezap
I’m not convinced you can say BR is low cost, zero evidence of that to date? Similar comment on mine life (although MRE supports reasonable life)
Cheers
James
Could argue low cost refers to the general territory of sunshine mining and not necessarily individual project economics. However, those two would have to go hand in hand to be desirable, so you are right James, we can only make wild assumptions at this stage without some numbers to compare with other similar scale projects out there.
Hi Howezap
I think we can make a reasonable assumption that BR is reasonably high cost, you can draw that conclusion from the prelim study. Flip side of that is we can hope to benefit from economies of scale, and maybe the ore sorting study proves a success.
Let’s see
Cheers
James
SO, how late is the Open Pit Mining Study for Bushranger now Colin ?
Any news on the AGM ?
Or any news full stop ?
If the options we have at BR are unfavourable its not likely that Colin will inform us of that. My guess is that we will get to find out in the same way we found out about Eureka and Kalengwa (which he got equally excited about early days). We just have to wait for the next spike in SP regardless of its cause to cash in.
XTR tweeted Sunday Roast Post yesterday, XTR was mentioned late on
Colin has lithium at GLR but it has made no difference to the shareprice. The markets are poor generally and despite copper holding up well sentiment on the exploration plays is dire. But that might be for good reason .......
Not seen any historical data for Kakuyu not sure there is any! Can’t be certain if was artisanal or industrial scale operation. Colin was adamant tho when pressed that it will only make a small contribution at first.
The hope is the further strike extensions potential that will see share to xtract increased to 70% with ultimate plan to develop a plant if viable to maybe also accept out sourced ore.
Lots of ifs and buts and some hearsay but the project had Martyn churchouse drooling over the very high grades evident in pit from a site visit.
185ton bulk sample went to Kabwe and since then an agreement has been made to process.
Can’t offer anything more we don’t know already tbh unless I’m missing something.
Can recall an interview with Martyn Churchouse where he said at Kakuyu he could show you in pit veining of 10’s and 15% copper.
Will try find it later I save most pods.
Was on the Zambia special the roasties done. Kakuyu in pit of 25% copper with average grades of 3-3.5% which is very decent.

Calm down Twinkle, people are allowed to question the company.
It's better than blindly and continually stating that buying at 1p is the dead cert way to make a fortune.
AIM is high risk and ATM XTR is VERY high risk.
If this goes wrong we won't see you for dust.
The fact you ask so many fundemental questions shows you are either too lazy to do your own research or haven't a clue what the situation is here.
Lovely day here !
"The fact you ask so many fundemental questions shows you are either too lazy to do your own research or haven't a clue what the situation is here."
Spot on.
I'm going for the latter of the two possibilities ! :)
Dani
Your view that "Still haven't told me why Colin is gonna get battered." (at AGM)
supports my view that you
"haven't a clue what the situation is here."
AIMHO
Dani:
You are labouring under the misconception that you can tell us what to do here
You aren't in charge here even though you think you are.
I'm not going to post ANYTHING just because you've told me to.
I'm not going to repost my findings just because you've demanded me to do so.
You haven't posted ANYTHING of substance yourself, only half thought out plays and wink wink, lets talk in code posts.
The problem with most of your "coded" posts is it's only you who has a clue what the code is.
I'm not out to get you or stalking you, quite the opposite, I just wish you'd post less rubbish as it blocks up the board.
Play the game not the man Dani,.
