Iām buying heaps now!!
āQatar Airways announces the latest expansion of its network to include Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), enabling greater frequencies and increased capacity to Luanda, Angola.
This latest network expansion provides passengers with greater travel choices within a key region of Africa, opening up a new entry point for international travel from Africa to China, Europe and the India Subcontinent using Doha, Qatar, as a gateway. The addition of Kinshasa increases the number of destinations in Africa served by the award-winning airline to twenty-nine.
Starting from the first of June 2024, Luanda will see a frequency increase from one weekly flight to four weekly flights with a combined service to Kinshasa which Qatar Airways will serve for the first time. For a world-class experience, the new route will be served by a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, equipped with 22 Business Class seats and 232 Economy Class seats.
Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Thierry Antinori, said: āWe have seen significant milestones in our 2024 network expansion and this latest addition is particularly special, as it continues our strategic goal of increasing our footprint in Africa.ā
They dealt with him early! What time was he booted?
Welcome back!
Finally WSG has closed a decent contract!
Iām back in with 250K in 3 tranches. May add more if any further weakness, but L2 looking stronger now.
Last time I was here with a huge holding Effing Donald Trump pulled the rug exiting from the Nuclear accord with Iran when we were about to sign the whopper.
Anyway, tenacious little Company is WSG and high time it got some decent contracts- whooo hooo.
I like that DRC Quatar Airways link.
... looks like LSE have taken action.
NIce2 CU---- as you say read the RNS.
It's NOT Ā£10---it is $10M..... which equates to circa Ā£8.2M/annum.
It's not 15yrs.... it is 10years,... with a possible extension.
So that is Ā£82m over 10yrs at present international passenger numbers. It doesn't include internal domestic travel,... nor freight.
Nevertheless, Ā£8.2M,... at an operating margin of 50% ( recent years 50-60%)= is still circa Ā£4.1M EBITDA--- or EPS of Ā£0.013p with circa 330M shares in issue. Put that on a modest p/e 10years.... and you have circa 13p/share.... just for this contract.
As I said before, the current unknowns are the finance required and means of funding, and the discount that the market will apply for operating in that region.--- PF fas indicate that short term funding will come from cash to hand-- ( it's only a 3-month in lead up to revenue being generated)... and then. we'll see what else is required. Perhaps some further detail on this from the Broker presentations on Wednesday.- the nice thing about the structure of teh deal is that we are paid by the International Air Carriers and we aren't reliant upon the DRC authorities etc for payment.
It may takes just a few days,... or it might take a few months for the sp to start to reflect the value of the contract. That is outside of our control. The very good news for the LTH's here, is that this contract, together with SL ( which has record pax and growing).... are the foundation stones to getting us in to profit year on year.
If, as we are led to believe, good progress has been made on a number of the other long term service contracts, and one or two more of these land,.... then as it says in the RNS,... we really could be looking at a transformation rise in the share prise.
As it is, I suspect there will be a large amount of 'churn' and volatility in the sp as traders come and go; when this happens,... we hope that the sp forms a new base at a higher level,... and steadies itself for the next kick on--- much as we are seeing now.
Anyway, fingers crossed.
Mms trying to flush out nice2cu and other such fools.
I agree Linton,
It's overused all over the market, but this feels like manipulation.
Wondering if there's a large buy order they are trying to fill with shares from traders that made money off the recent rise.
Will be interesting to see how this plays out over the week.
ā¦drop here. Sells are tiny volumes. Could see another strong intra-day reversal here. (Even without Niceās āhelpā)
Great post DrMaccers.
I can't comprehend why today's performance is so bad currently.
We have a company that is
1. Generating Revenue
2. Had just signed a multi-year contract to keep generating revenue.
3. Runs at a very healthy margin on the contracts.
4. Is planning non dilutive funding.
5. Has a very small Mcap.
I understand people got burnt here in the past and there's been a strong rise pre-news. But this company really looks like it should be ramping up and starting to be very strong.
Trying to ignore the movement today, put in in the back pocket and come see in a month or two....
Good luck genuine holders and buyers.
Https://www.google.com/amp/s/airspace-africa.com/2024/04/10/qatar-airways-announces-the-launch-of-flights-to-democratic-republic-of-congo/%3famp will find the EU one just give me time
janiax - thatās the whole point of his spamming the bb - to bury any constructive posts. heās just one of lifeās****** (*iāll let you decide whether to insert an i or another vowel instead) iām afraid.
Who is this idiot?
Woodys - you said DRC was off EU blacklist from 22nd march. What source is that?
In it up to my neck to be honest. And still here down on half from year's ago but up on half from the last year or so
. Exiting times
Are you a moron?
You want to pump the price up for a quick buck but what do you think will get someone to buy
1)You spamming a board with absolute garbage drowning out
2)Long term, well researched, large holders posting well thought out posts
Absolute child
Yupā¦..like so many long term holdersā¦.Iām way under!! This needs to do sooo much more for me!! lol š.
Are you still here
Never mind Riaā¦ā¦I think Iād rather see Doubleheadedcoin!!! FFS!!!
I want to see this go up as much as the next guy, but this may be the first time I actually block someone one this website.
These posts are pointless and just spam.
Please stop. There were some great informative posts over the weekend which will do the share better than the craps from N2CU.
If you want to spam go elsewhere.
Come back Ria all is forgiven
Are people really stupid enough to believe a brand new poster, with posting diarrhea, spouting seemingly random numbers? I just donāt get the point.
Iāll take 5. I have little faith
This should be funny.
Can we have a sweet stake on how long until they are booted?
1/. By 10 am
2/. 10-12
3/. 12-2
4/. 2-4.30
5/. after the close
I'm going for No. 4 as LSE is pretty slow at these things.
Its been a slog being a WSG shareholder but now the worm has turned.
We can see how the DRC deal is with about 15p to the SP on the first year revs. These will significantly increase with new airport and off the EU blacklist, not to mention cargo/domestic screening revs. Finger in air, revs likely to at least double over the course of the contract.
With this finally being delivered, Peter has bought some credit back in the trust-o-meter so when he says there is a few imminent sizeable MSCs out there then im more inclined to believe him. Another the size of DRC would make a mockery of the MCap. It's not hard to see how they see 26p with 1-2 more MSCs.
This is the Fowler family pension as well so they really do want the SP up like we do.
The short term flipping seemed finished on friday, more colour can be got on the calls wed and when debt funding for the very small short fall in DRC capex is confirmed, we are on an easy hold into double digits.
