They have bought back all that was allowed under the announcements so has paused until they restart it (hopefully a trading update soon)
Thanks Saxman. I’m still a little bemused at this pause In the buyback process. The company surely understand that this is hurting the share price, along with the other obvious macro factors.
I am not worried like all stocks they go up go go down so many lies in this country now I will buy stocks as there are so cheap and I am getting some good money fromRPS stock which a lot of investors missed in the city
Chellybaby questions are the right one's to suggest trusting your research I have found to be the most unhelpful piece of advice.. over the course of 20 years I've found only the price matters the advantage we have over institutions whom have access to research / info we don't is we can sell or buy all or part with the click of a button.. I'm not talking day trading but believing number crunching from publicly available information creates an edge is pure fantasy.. All that being said I'm in today @51.8 with a starter lot of 3.. exposure of full sized position if get there 1% of total equity.. 50p will look again to either cut or add.
Trust your research undertaken prior to buying the stock , if nothing fundamentally has changed why do you not see this as a opportunity to buy more at the now lower price.
Down again today. Something not quite right here. Has the buyback stopped because the company think the share price will go lower? Could this be a clue to what we can expect on the next trading update.?
I’m a little concerned to be honest as it would appear are other holders
Cheers
They often seem to stop for no reason but then there is an announcement e.g. a trading update so my guess is we will have an update either later this week or early next week
Anybody has at a guess as to why the share buyback has stalled? Seems odd they were buying back daily but nothing now for over a week.
I'm wondering who's bought the leftovers from WestWay Nissan? ??
I think Motorpoint put out a statement that was less than positive.
why is this falling, rather than buying back shares they should give bigger divi.
Should rocket , but price is not responding , only reasons i can see are ,
market is pricing in a recession or, some highly skilled interest is building a position and keeping the price in there target range.
With the news of another share buyback you can only assume sales continue to be strong

Nice little rise today, long may it continue .
Director just bought 336,324 shares.
Another director bought 150,000 shares
Final year results: profit £80m
Net cash position of £16m
New CTO hired, and purchase of land in Derby.
Company is growing and the need of second vehicles is increasing.
Golden opportunity here.
9 MIL buys to 700,000m sells and they drop the price, with two decent RNSs aswell. ???
Ditto...Topped up at a tad over 50p this morning. I now own way more of these than is good for me. But there is seriously no way these should be trading at below their tangible NAV (~68p). Even if things get a little sticky in the coming year or so, it's hard to see them swinging to a loss so add the value of the business on top of the healthy NAV and it's difficult to come to a fair valuation below ~90p. Bring it on :D
Just picked some up after seeing their cracking results, will be interesting to see the broker ratings now.
90m cash. 80m net profit, 25pc of which achieved in last 2 months. 70p per share in tangible assets nearly. Dividend paying.
Strong.
Outstanding results !!
Looking GREAT!

They've done a share buy back, set up a Toyota dealership in Scotland and bought the freehold of premises previously rented by the Coop. All of this should have a positive impact on future EPS. I understand trading conditions will worsen but they seem in as good a shape as any car dealer to deal with it. You would think they are undervalued.
