It'd been an utter disgrace and it highlights the worst of AIM
This is one of those shameful outfits that sadly only exists to raise cash from hapless shareholders. It's worse than most though as they're doing it multiple times a year, this latest one alone being 50% dilution! They've now raised well over £35m in total since float (not a typo), that will never be seen again.
Now 28% spread
People buying at 12% above the placement price and a few grand too!
There is a 12.5% spread too
Absolutely bonkers
If this hits the placement price of 0.08p... which it will by looks if it.. then the placing will be worth more than the company in terms of MCAP.. just take that information in and wonder what hope it has.
They are now stating all these opportunities BUT the RNS before the AGM/EGM on the 10th basically Said let us raise money through dilution or we are bust
What a bunch of crooks
Needs to change his name to Investingandcompletelyclueless...
What a clown.
Nearly as bad as holding from £3,000 to £8 and then trying to blame someone else....
All waffle investing genius.. hmmm
They would not need 400k to keep the lights ok if this had a chance
At this valuation its probabky worth a go. Silly price
"The net proceeds of the Placing will be used for corporate and working capital purposes as the Company seeks to capitalise on the growing number of opportunities in its pipeline. Recent new projects include a sales agreement with Go To Gym to bring Graphene-WearTM products to Colombia, Brazil and the USA, and Versarien's subsidiary, Gnanomat, entering into an agreement to co-develop advanced materials with IRPC, a Thai petroleum and petrochemical company. These projects, along with a pipeline of other opportunities currently being pursued demonstrate the longer term prospects for the business.
As announced on 20 December 2023, the mature businesses and the intellectual property and plant acquired from Hanwha Aerospace in 2020 continue to be marketed for sale and the Company is progressing discussions with a number of interested parties, though the timing of any asset sales and the quantum of the funds that may be received remains uncertain."
Well, that looks like this share has run its course. Shame, thought they could have done so much more with this opportunity.. on to the next AIM failure.
Share prophets pulled this up a while ago ..HE DOSE GET A FEW CORRECT and saves people loads .well done tom
I've 8 pounds from 3000 .
Can't get three coffees in Starbucks . Absolute joke
Wow this was 6p not so long ago.
What a complete shambles.
They stated a raise was needed when this was 0.35p and that pathetic 400k has been raised at 80% discount from them
Investing genius
There are now almost a billion shares in issue which market cap close to £800.000.
The company is serial cash burner with net assets of almost nil.
That’s pretty much the price of a listing. Any sniff of asset sale completion and it’ll multibag many times over
Reading the RNS doesn’t seem like a company that should be valued so low. We will see I guess
Fund raising at 0.08p
I would add that there won't be any news related to anything. For the last decade, they never gave any update on:
1/ "testing" the bloody sample of a probably doubtful white powder
2/ Supposedly dozens "agreements"
3/ Any order
So my conclusion is: This con is an empty shell robbing people openly.
I am expecting them to call administrators very soon.
The truth is that all those who bought high lost everything today. Despite this, the crooks are still preparing the "turnaround lie" to support their salaries. While their market cap is now less than £750k they are preparing for another raise close tot their market cap ! Worse than a Ponzi Scheme to me because they are acting in daylight.
Obviously not projected to produce any significant income otherwise would have been an RNS...??

Just come across this post and surprised that no link provided here- faith for this stock is so low amongst us that anything that shows signs of income/increased commercialisation should be hailed as +ve - surely ??
Squadaazzura, you fail in your desire to appear clever as if you actually understood what a Ponzi Scheme is you would understand, that whatever VRS is, it isn't one of those (see explanation here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponzi_scheme) so you instantly lose ALL credibility.
As for what VRS is.....well IMO it is - like all other Graphene companies - an early stage entity transitioning from (or at least trying to) R&D to a commercial enterprise, something that takes both time, and money, to realise and even then there is no guarantee that the transition will occur (like AGM). This kind of company is what the capital markets, and AIM in particular, are for. They should also NOT be judged in terms of traditional metrics like FTSE100 / 250 type companies are, or at least not until commercialisation is well established [in which case they will probably no longer be on AIM but be listed elsewhere)..
This is the trend since the start more than a decade ago: 1/ Numerous fake RNS as no "agreements" or "orders" or "testing" has materialised. Then 2/ Announce a raise upon raise. Since then no update any any bull$&&&t was given. Now I am asking these crooks: Where is all those millions gone ? This is unfortunately the reality and this is a proof we are dealing wit a Ponzi scheme.
Multibaggerjim, whilst you may be right this hasn't happened yet and so making such statements are actually unhelpful / misleading
Yep another complete AIM failure and 100% loss for shareholders.
Insolvency incoming
I know what products are intended for graphene enhancement but VRS can still miss the boat from retail investor point of view.
