Finally, last week I was a guest speaker on an oil webinar hosted by IG and was joined by new Victoria Oil & Gas CEO Roy Kelly as well as expert oil and trading analysts from the home team. The link is below and is very long but I come on at 6m30s and Roy at 28m30s if you are interested!
IGTV interview: Oil – Has The Market Changed Forever?

Courtesy and friendliness only go so far, bigsmoke.
come, come. I think you can extend the claim beyond AIM CEOs ...
Apologies, bigsmoke - I must have read too many pronouncements from AIM CEO charlatans over the weekend - I'll try to keep it to pub talk!
And when are they ever going to open?
"...distressed asset that was going to attempt to recover 'organically'..."
for a moment, i had to scroll to the top of the page and remind myself just what BB I was on .... :)
One way or another, Bigsmoke, (SEY or New AGE), moves are afoot, imo.
VOG needs a large injection of capital before the year is out. That's why i'm here - I wouldn't invest in a distressed asset that was going to attempt to recover 'organically'. I've not enough years for that.
as I mentioned several months ago, check out the terms of the last fundraise.
what will happen if there is another cash call ?
i was referring to the other conspiracy theory
It will be interesting to see if the new Finance Director is ex-Kerogen, same as Roy Kelly and John Daniel.
Kerogen is the major shareholder of New Age - thus such an appointment might imply a backdoor takeover of VOG with a relationship similar to that of Bowleven with New Age?
yes the fat lady is just warming up her vocal chords in the wings. Two ways to take this latest rns. but she seems to be heading onto the stage imo. oil price so low so no incentive to use gas. Class action of some form should have happened when KF was in charge following **** up after **** up as reflected in the sp at the time imo.
(that was a joke)
is it to that company which was stated (below) toi be on the approach for aT/O... ?
as expected.
of course, onwards and upwards then
this time next year Rodney
Yes, agreed, timbar. Very positive in my view. Looks like the new man is set to provide decisive strong leadership.
Looks like he was pushed by the new man .Leaves with immediate effect ,no usual we thank Andrew for his service in the rns .Positive news more of the old guard gone .
Someone else not willing to compromise his future and his reputation by continuing to spin the BS.
The fat lady has her sparkly dress on and is ready to go.
I lost a potload at the height of the lockdown but have recovered two thirds of it by buying loads of ITV, LLOY, HFD, CCL and PFD at the bottom and selling SAR on the recent spike.
No more Africa for me. It's a veritable shareholder shxxithole, as is AIM
if you want an income on your investment while you wait, why not go round the corner from cam to Nig and looks at san leon (SLE)? DIV of 6p per share being paid next week. SP at 26p. Pretty much 25%. Seeing a number of very old VOG names over there.
maybe, perhaps, our CURRENT jv partner would have to match/exceed any bid..
i love the smell of a good ramp in the morning
why are you promoting VOG as an interesting investment for SEY?!
VOG is burning money and there is in this market environment in my opinion NO prospective outlook to change this in the near term - just my opinion but lots of downside here ... maybe sell your VOG and buy some SEY ... at SEY they are looking for REAL projects able to produce profitable at low oil and gas prices ... AND if they do not get a great asset they will pay out cash to shareholders! Happy weekend
I'm just thinking the directors want to exit this mess with at least some of their reputations intact and a nice payoff. We don't matter
Still waiting for some plan out this nightmare.
Why would DIK leave under a cloud of, being a corporate lawyer, there was a shred of possibility of leaving as a deal maker?
At the mention of VOG kaz assets..
As for $10m legal liabilities .. is that from the same ruller that said the wells would cost 40m?
