And it's currently dropping badly on the NASDAQ! It really is a s*** show from Margherita et al.
Well said Garonne couldn't have said that better myself.....With the next divi my average is going to be around the £1.10....bad but not has bad as some others on here....
It looks to me as if the MMs are holding this in the 67 to 69 range prior to February's Q3 results. I dread to think what'll happen here if said results are poor. So far for me investing here has been a disaster and it shows no sign of improving. Let's hope the imminent Italian news gives this a lift. God knows we need something!
Its not looking goode agane sadly.
They all gonna loose they shirts hear...
Orange man bad. Must worry and panic because mainstream media told me to.
Fun fact, Bill Clinton who was president to 2001, is younger than both Biden and Trump.
I see Jax has gone missing again :)
" I'd love it if someone nuked the BBC"
Careful. If the Police see that, they will arrest you for simulating a hate crime ... steady on !!
I'd love it if someone nuked the BBC

I would be more than happy to say goodbye to the world as we know it now.. since Biden took office it has become a dumpster fire, we are on a brink of a nuclear war.. It's a complete mess.
Totally - investments might go up for six months or so then say goodbye to democracy and the world as we know it
I’d take losing half my investments if it meant Trump stays out of power
Isn’t trump a baffoon.
"Once in a lifetime"
"Just like previously"
Ermm..
If Trump wins,, Odds are in favour,, expect 50 percent USA market going higher,, and interest rates will be going much lower,, So this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity to start your investments,, just like previously..
Rising nicely stateside tonight. Could VOD be starting to stage a recovery?
@Guttersnipe, i recommend a dictionary, its called a book. When you find one, get someone to read it to you.

if you look at the share price a lot of "investors" have sold and are not currently even in the market or have preferred to bet as a CFD short or Put Option, in view of the recent problems in Germany, and all the other issues affecting consumer spending and business growth. It is not easy for many right now to grow business revenue in the current climate when many of the problems are out of the hands of any of those CEO and dependent on the actions taken by others, and the market knows it
MDV seems to be aware of what she can likely do and what she cannot , and as such she is working on what VOD can do themselves and leaving the rest to the Central banks, Governments and the likes of Putin etc etc
The Update in February will be aware of what she cannot do ( and some have sold as a result of the macro issues ) but will focus as I say on what she presents in terms of what they can do and cost cutting targets, customer service investment, work on any Italy talks, service revenue improvements following on from the last quarter improvement, performance in Germany etc the recent deal with Microsoft etc etc will be in focus
Look around and CEOs are still somewhat cautious on 2024 at the moment with many looking to H2 as the time for improvement with a ticking over still within H1... at present
The market sees Europe nearing recession and the ECB saying it is too early to reduce interest rates , and the chances of a March rate drop in the US halving within a week
Pokerchips,
MDV is 'kicking a can down the road'
Investors are looking for upward movement on SP.
Best way to achieve that is by noticing complaints on Vodafone & setting agendas to solve 'complaints'
It's 'here' Guttersnipe not 'hear' ... It's not looking good here.
The first being an adverb & the latter a verb.
Lesson one for eight year olds mate.
It's not looking good hear
" Beware CEO predictions."
mole_man99
you have missed the point here.. The CEO hasn't made wild predictions about growth this year. In fact the opposite.
She actually told everyone not to get too excited about a big change this H2 but see it as the foundations of what they are doing and the growth from that will be seen in FY25
We expect to sustain our profit growth in the year ahead, despite the arrival of a new entrant in Italy and competitive pressure in Spain, supported by the third year in a row of lower net operating costs. Our primary focus continues to be to accelerate the ‘Digital Vodafone’ programme, which we believe is a unique opportunity to enhance our customers’ experience, generate incremental value and improve cost efficiency.”
Sounds like a solid investment for profits and dividend growth?
It was Vittoria Colao, 2018
Beware CEO predictions. What investors need is the solid strategy and plans, and then you can make your own analysis.
