This kind of testing is known as NIPT (Non Invasive Prenatal Testing). There are already two NIPT tests available - Harmony and Panorama(http://www.ariosadx.com/company-overview/ and http://www.lifelabs.com/Lifelabs_ON/Patients/TestInfo/Special/Panorama.asp). As I understand it, these tests are available privately while the Great Ormond Street NIPT evaluation for NHS suitability completes in September. Does anyone know what distinguishes Premaitha's offering from Harmony and Panorama?
Thanks for earlier reply, much appreciated
If all this goes to plan then this hopefully will be a damsite higher than it is now.
You will still be entitled to purchase total entitlement.
Commercialisation date: The highly qualified team of scientists and technicians at Premaitha are also currently undergoing IONA® Test development and design verification processes; target completion for this stage is by 30 September 2014. The clinical performance and commercialisation testing is then anticipated to be substantially complete by 31 December 2014 with expected commercial launch of the IONA® Test to commence January 2015. If they can keep to plan we should start to see some action late this year hopefully perhaps sooner if we get lucky! TBK.
they said emails will be sent when they get notified..
But a nice £10 k buy... Someone's confident!
Has anyone received anything for them regarding the Open Offer yet?
I got a note from my broker regarding the open offer, I am eligible to purchase 31,085 at a cost of £0.110000 per share. I'm afraid I have no spare cash to take advantage of this! Question- If I were to sell some at today's price, would my entitlement quantity of the open offer decrease accordingly? i.e if I sell half of my shares today, will I now only be eligible for 15542 at £0.110000? or will I still be eligible to purchase my total entitlement of 31,085 at a cost of £0.110000 as I have held since pre suspension?
January next year?
No worries, I've been invested here for years. I got in initially on the use of NASA tech to find oil and predict porosities and commerciality however since then this has been very disappointing with lots of secrecy and cloak and dagger stuff! I could understand this initially but became more worried as claimed contracts just seemed to vanish without any further updates. We knew we had Chevron on board plus another SM but to this day we still don't know who that is or if they are still involved (with VEC)!!! This latest turn looks very interesting to me even although it was not of my choosing I am getting happier each day with this new business and the people involved. I guess January next year will be key and I hope that our new man-in-charge can perform yet another turnaround. I have always believed in Vialogy however I didn't see us ending up here so I am now trying to research the potential in this new test that Premaitha has developed and seems to think has massive potential.............. I hope they are correct!
Thanks for your insightful post 23:27 last night. Hope you don't mind me asking but are you a long term holder of VIY, or new because of the Premaitha and medical aspect? I know I could look back at your posts, but thought I would ask. No worries if you don't reply.
No Holdings RNS - big seller? Hawk Investment Holdings Limited who probably do not need to notify a disposal? twix386 - good info, thanks.
Thanks mate - think that's an old one though ?
for your supportive comments Robl. I like to try to help and assist posters when I can. I think AR has done a terrific job here and the alternative would have been complete failure for shareholders. His view to seek out a completely separate business as a core requirement and give us 2 strings to our bow is clearly instrumental in our survival and one expects going on to flourish. I am still hopeful that SG can secure funding as a friend had a chat with him over the weekend and reports optimism from it. I believe the transfer was done in March, so there are over 8 months left of his 1 year window to seek funding. I am betting so long as he is given the time that the negs need to get it right and with slow big players that this will bear fruit. No guarantees, but I hope AR can see the rationale for staying with it for a while longer inspite of frustrations we all share. aimho
That's awful news about your foreign status preventing your OO participation. I've seen these sorts of exclusions before. Perhaps it might be prudent to have a UK based account for certain holdings, though I presume Luxembourg has it's advantages on some matters? I'm thrilled about the prospects here. PK - not sure about the MktCap calcs, and the only thing that worries me about all this is Consolidation. SOU and LWRF just had one and lo and behold, there's more space for the sp to drift down, so they did (SOU since recovered). Been involved with about 3 other consolidations, all spoken about as if they were great for the business or sometimes essential if the sp has drifted below the nominal value - they've all resulted in short term drifts. Looking into consolidation further, perhaps it is essential as the nominal value of our shares is, since January, 0.1p (it had to be changed then). It is not possible to issue any further shares below this value. Issuing more @ 0.11p is close to the mark but would be allowed. Make the sp 11p, say, and you are allowed to issue more shares at a big range of prices from 11p down to 0.1p(no-one would buy into an offer normally above the sp). (think I'm right in that the nominal value of the New shares would still be 0.1p, but may be wrong - (KaChing?) Not sure of how much one has to be wary of this on VIY but it is a necessary evil of consolidation that there is more downside IMO. (people may think this is rubbish, but it's been my experience)
equally ruthless view but he seemed vaguely optimistic about this. If all goes to plan and that business is refinanced at the price its management team it should be refinanced at, Vialogy will still own 60% of that business which would be worth $15 million ( £9 million) – i.e., c three times the current Enterprise value. Do I think that will happen? No. If it does then happy days. But realistically I still expect that via a smart RTO Adam Reynolds and his team will create value. And I am greatly encouraged by the Bulletin Boards which serve as a great contra indicator. With the shares now rising and fundamentals is much better than they have been for eons the mood seems almost universally bearish. Having called Vialogy 100% wrong all the way down, I now have complete faith in the same folks to call it 100% wrong on the upside as well. And so this is both a comment about psychology and a share tip from me. The long letter element is the observation about human psychology as seen in financial markets.
Vialogy - a lesson in investor psychology and a share to buy says Tom Winnifrith Do you know how to trade this most volatile of stocks? Er..no we don’t either. I tipped this stock on my Nifty Fifty website I run with Steve Moore on Monday at a 0.19p offer price. The shares are now 0.2-0.23p and are nothing if not volatile. For more than a year I was a bear of AIM listed oil technology company Vialogy (LSE:VIY). Despite years of non-delivery, of management greed and the fact that it was obviously running out of money Bulletin Board posters abused me all the way down from 2.5p to 0.4p and generally stood by the board. In the end I bought a few shares which I still own, went along to the AGM and “played up” – there was very quick boardroom change in response to “the terror.” At the time of that AGM Vialogy’’s then chairman (Terry “Junk” Bond) was forced, eventually, to admit that his company would be bust within six weeks or so. But still on balance the BBs gave old Junk some benefit of the doubt to the very end. I have not looked at the Vialogy Bulletin Boards for some weeks but had a quick glance today. Things have changed for the firm. A placing ( and open offer to give existing punters upside) at 0.1p has left the firm with £1.5 million net cash so there is no question of it going bust within weeks. It now has a new proven management team headed by Adam Reynolds. And it has a clear purpose, to buy a profitable support services business or range of businesses. The new management team put in a lot of their own cash to the placing which did not involve bucket shops as the BB’s implied so there has been sod all “flipping.” Shareholders know that for the new board to really cash in they need the shares to trade at above 0.5p for 30 consecutive days so that generous option packages kick in. I chatted to Reynolds the other day and there are just two things on his mind: finding and securing a good target and getting the shares to 0.5p. I know that he is working his socks off to achieve that. And the market seems to thinks so too. The shares are steadily creeping up from 0.14p a week or so ago to 0.2p in the middle today. They were 0.28p on Monday. So I hold my existing shares (a very few) and rather more picked up in the placing. Volumes are enough that I could flip but I cannot see why I should want to at anywhere near this price. With a market cap of sub £5 million anything could happen and I trust a management team whose interests are 100% aligned with mine to deliver some pretty decent gains from here. Personally I write off the legacy oil services business and I had rather expected Adam to take a
Sorry if already posted, just some info on the DxS deal: The deal, for an initial consideration of $75 million in cash and $20 million in deferred payments, represents the culmination of an eight-year relationship between NVM and Manchester-based DxS. NVM identified the fi eld of personalised medicine as an exciting growth market and were delighted to back Steve Little and his team with an initial investment of £1.25 million when they set up DxS in 2001. NVM led further funding rounds in 2004 and 2006 and introduced YFM and Hygea as co- investors. This funding allowed the business to develop and secure a landmark success in bringing the world’s first companion diagnostic to market. This has lead to further contracts to develop diagnostic kits for a number of multinational giants in the pharmaceutical industry and cemented DxS’ position as a leader in its field. At $130 million NVM would achieve a return of 13 times money and an internal rate of return (IRR) of 39%. The $75 million initial cash consideration represents 8 times NVM’s investment of a total of £3 million and an IRR of 34%. I think this Dr Little chap knows how to get a return on investment!
Im not sure the value of the market cap will be more than 20.5 million but after the OO and the share dilution and consillidation. Sorry just dont think its that easy.
Divide 100,000 by 400 and you get 250. That is how many shares for your BaSiC ENTitlement in the forthcoming Open Offer. You can chose to take those @ 11p each and make a subscription for extra if you wish, or you can not take up the offer. There are no further costs beyond the 11p price, so you should take them IMO even if it is only a few. When your 100,000 are consolidated at 1:100, you'll have 1000 + your 250 if you subscribe @ 11p.
Received my VIY documents / prospectus today. It weighed so much. Definitely no lightweight. 1lb 6ozs.
I think he is a poisonous muppet - but, can you post it so we can read it??
Has totally changed his view and today stated that VIY is a psychological buy. He has thrown total confidence behind Adam.
Just come back after 5 days offline to see everything has happened in my absence! Haven't had a chance to digest it all yet, but I did see couple of people ****ging Twix off for being right! I have to say that if someone on our BB is in the know and is prepared to tell us what is going to happen and when, then hat's off to him. Telling us the day the RNS would be, the industry we'd be in and even the SP is all good, and to be honest I don't care why he does it. Some of you think he's a self-publicist. I don't see that, but even if he is then as long as he continues to give us accurate insights, then who cares!? Quick scan suggests some of you have already done a lot of research on the new company/product. Thanks for that to all the helpful posters. Seems promising anyway. GLA
