Is there any news out today? Something must have changed somewhere, as there has been 16 buys at 42 which is unusual as this one has seen no action since it dropped in price. Anyone know of anything brewing?
Rises and falls are not driven solely by supply and demand. There are many hidden factors, which is why we (the punters) invariably lose out, or don't make as much as we might hope. A share is just another horse really - and the MMs often know more about its state of health than we do!
SP jumped 11% on 2 sells and a tiny buy???
This price is being driven up by the broker/s, not by ramping. I have no idea why though.
Not with oil at less than $50.
See the latest Operational Report on Volga Gas... it states they have a cash balance of $28 Million and ZERO debt, any thoughts or input on this driving the share price back up again?? Anyone think it can reach £555.00 again... see link: http://www.digitallook.com/news/rns/2510746-223754/VGAS-Operational_Update.html
Sold half yesterday high, then half the remaining at 58.5, then the rest at the current price. I was only in for 8000 total anyway. Stocking fillers are better than the enormous holes that have appeared in them over the last month! The biggest 'rampers' at present are the brokers!
Hi cazsimps. I have no idea, have sold all mine now for that reason!
Thanks for the reply sootyandsweep. I realise that, but am still puzzled as I have been flogging in bigger 'bits' than that as the price has risen, having bought early yesterday at 33.5. Yet my trade today doesn't show.
You ask.......Why are 700 shares bought and sold so often though? Any ideas? 700 is the normal market size(you can find that information on this page if you look hard enough!!!). If you don't understand what I mean then try doing a GOOGLE search on 'market size'. These shares are very illiquid, that's why the MMs only trade up to 700 at a time normally.
The VOLG FD posted on another forum, 'VGAS has fallen almost 90% since its peak on very little liquidity and bounced a tiny fraction of that on equally little liquidity.' He also stated there was no imminent news. A technical bounce thus.
These are on the way up again. Why are 700 shares bought and sold so often though? Any ideas?
months ago and decided to stay away. Bugger! But as i remember there was some hassle with a licence.... has that now been sorted?.....looks like it may have been
I fully understand why you are know keeping your cards closely to your chest but what tipped you off to come here in the first place as I want to put as many weapons in the armoury as possible. If it was gut feel then good for you but if it was researched base where are you looking to get info. I would imagine that given the recent boom and busts this is probably a three day runner if recent hikes are anything to go by. I am going to have a look at this company tonight to try and see what you saw to come here but has the horse now bolted and the field been dug up????
Can't find anything new...anyone ?
what the fall is due to ?? anything to do with http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7443380.stm ??
