Too late, we're coming !!!! Say goodbye to sense and sensibility !
Another steady performance this week. No debt, potential a plenty, and a cracking RNS of late, and best of all there isn't a bunch of to**ers ramping it to death with near 15,000 posts of utter garbage per week (not that this needs help from rampers anyway) Good luck all in here.......SSSSHHHHHHHH!!!!! Dont tell anyone we're here! :-)
What was the reason for the rise this Thursday / Friday - was away on business both days and curious at the larger volume given the rest was not so good. http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/8492/gulf-keystone-and-volga-gas-among-few-rising-oil-gas-stocks-on-aim-as-crude-oil-slips-to-68-8492.html
What a little treasure!!... just picked this up on my radar :-)... will monitor now and see if theres an entry point for me.... well done to all of you in here!!
KIS - I'm not on such a good rise as you, as I was stop lossed at .75 then was worried about the OO and stayed out until just over 1.00, nearly doubled on this trade though, which is great :-) NPP62 - I have absolutely no idea - had this share on my radar since late last year and seen how they overcame one of the reasons for the big drop. No rampers, no persistent posting? Its off the radar at iii but more on the ADVFN free BB's. I can see upside still with out the GF-1 well, but if that one comes in I think KIS will be ecstatic.
Cant beleive there isn't more interest in VGAS..... can someone tell me why people aren't falling over themselves to buy this???
Maybe today will get this one on your radars!! Read the latest of the news...go back a bit too.... its all good stuff!!
* Construction of the GPU is advanced and commissioning is continuing. * Application has been made for authority to commence production of gas and condensate. FINANCIAL * First period of positive EBITDA and positive operating cash flow. * Revenues of $3.4 million in H1 2009 (H1 2008: $0.1 million). * $14.6 million in cash as at 30 June 2009 and no debt. * Equity Placing raised a further US$27m ($26.6m net of expenses) and completed on 7 July 2009. Mikhail Ivanov, Chief Executive Officer of Volga Gas, said: 'I am very pleased with our operational achievements during the first half of the year which included the start of sustained and growing production from the Uzenskoye field, the connection of the initial two Vostochny-Makarovskoye wells to the gas processing unit and the groundwork that enabled us to start drilling operations on the first of our sub-salt wells, Grafovskaya ž1. The results of our production have enabled us to report a first period of positive EBITDA and positive operating cash flow - an important milestone for our company. Thanks to the support of our shareholders, the Company remains well capitalized and able to progress towards testing the potentially value transforming sub-salt potential of our licenses. The remainder of 2009 will be the most exciting period to date in the Company's history. We look forward to updating shareholders as and when appropriate.&apo

september 16th could see the next large jump, i find it highly over coincidental that my chart estimates of an upside around the same time as the 16th very interesting. we seem to be going sideways at the moment due to the low volume. ATB
"We look forward to updating the market as to progress on our other operations along with our Interim results on 16 September 2009." looks very promising and worded like he is hinting it will be good news, but can this share truly rise any higher??? cant wait to see
if they report large amounts of oil from the 2 wells in the Karpenskiy area this share price will shoot through the resistance.
Great news - 6 wells in production now http://www.shareprice.co.uk/VGAS/VOLGA-GAS-PLC Interims 16th September ..... should be good

could you be so kind in posting a link?
They are bouncing off the walls about this share on ADVFN BB's whereas here and iii they are relatively dead! I do not understand the lack of interest in this share.
Thnx, a nice probe into the company. As soon as the selling starts and ends i will be straight in for the long run. I have found that this company is good to their investers unlike numerous other companies out there.
I am certainly no expert in the slightest, and an answer from Keepitsimple would be far better advice. As my simple intelligence sees this share the reason of its fall from 280 to sub 100 has been overcome and that rating was for an exploration company which had secured exploration rights. Now its a producer and recovering in SP without hardly any PI coverage (see how quiet this BB is). All the production is lovely but the recent RI will have diluted the original price so 280 no longer applies (as an explorer) The difficult part is that it is now a producer and will be tied to Russian Gas / Oil prices and the political pressures therin. In the mid term it will be tied in with the sucess of developing a deep well Grafovskaya#1 (G#1) and a drilling rig LEWCO-450t is being assembled at the wellsite. It is expected that drilling will commence in September 2009. As always the usual cop out of DYOR, but a note of caution, I am but a novice.
I have now freed up the funds after a small profit right in time when VGAS decides to make another huge jump. Is there any top end resistance or is the sky the limit?
How frustrating! I did get back in before the last rise, so I am happy again. However if your research looks like my own I see little downside on this share below 300 (in time) other than if their deep well turns out to be a duster! I'm happy to hold this one at the moment and I hope your funds get released to get in also.
have been watching these for a while wanting to invest but have lacked the finance. If anyone has researched all of the news on these they will share my enthusiasm. Did anyone spot the director who brought into these quoting a buy at 90p a few weeks ago??? my god his advice was priceless
With the big rise, this stock now has a spread difference of 24%.
