Even the rise Friday happened late so most will have missed it. It seems the market missed this RNS http://online.hemscottir.com/ir/vgas/ir.jsp?page=news-item&item=208621593958242 which is nothing unexpected, its still good news and if you compare it to some lesser shares which bolt upwards on spuding, its quite weird.
What has gone on here? My selftrade account shows a closing price of 162.50 up 51%, shareprice shows it as 162.50 up 51%, LSE shows it 133.75 but up 51% (which makes the % wrong?) and the last trade was for 133.75! funny stuff... but not complaining :-)
ever noticed that this share has odd spurts of buys, we have just had 16 in 3 minutes all buys at 130? This happens every month or so ..... just wonder why?
Live buys at 129 and moving up at almost every new buy.
The long expected jump upwards will happen today, just glad I'm already in this one. Didn't want to miss out a second time
i cant see this happening as the only reason the company was being held down was the court case which has now passed, thus the massive jump to 100+p. In all fairness this share is a bargain at 90p if it goes back to that.
to buy back into this one as I see it rising strongly on good news. Just trying to decide how low it might retrace .... anyone let me borrow their time machine?
Was looking at 70 at a re-entry point but was too concerned about the dilution lol! Looking at the charts it looks as this has created a "round bottom" .... but I am certainly no chartist but a looong way, just that that one is hard to forget! So I may well buy back in anyway for a longer investment, but will try and catch a better price. http://steelguru.com/news/index/2009/07/10/MTAxNjE5/Baring_Vostok_increase_stake_in_Volga_Gas.html With more disclosures on who has invested here shortly
On the contrary, i am kicking myself too....saw this had broken the 90p resistance last night and added it to my watch list....wanted to wait and see if it broke the £1 mark.....idiotically forgot to look this morning and pow.....there goes a 20%er
On 8th May here I wrote "if I wait too long I just know I will have to watch the boat sail away" .... never did get back on board as i was waiting for the dilution to kick in LOL ....FOOL ..... looks like the boats raised gangplanks and pulling out. So do I jump in my rowing boat and pull like hell to catch up or do i stand on the jetty and waive? Dunno why I'm asking as no-one will reply to me lol
On 6th June this share had 600,000 shares sold and the SP dips a tiny amount. Since then we have have mostly small buys and the SP drifts upto 93. ....... baffling
RE: Volga Gas-Proxy Voting Result Volga Gas, the independent oil and gas exploration and production company with licence areas in the Volga region of European Russia, announces that all resolutions put to shareholders at the Company's AGM held earlier today were duly passed. Yes this is definitely a good share to buy into after dilution
The extra placement of shares at 61p dilutes the shares by about 30%, will surely cause a retrace; however harsh this is on existing holders (not me atm) this has to be good to get the well into production long term. Any thoughts?
vgas is a good company with cash and on the verge of profit so i will definately be back in after the dilution, i guess the company believes that it is overvalued?
Thanks for that, I didn't realise this was out and its the first time I have seen it. Resolution 6 and 7 do not sound good for holders.
i have shares with these and have had an email from my broker regarding the company. maybe im jumping to conclusions??? Dear Investor Re: Volga Gas-annual general meeting The board has announced that the company is proposing the following resolutions at an AGM to be held on 18th June 2009; Res 1. To receive the directors’ report and accounts for the year ended 31 December 2008 Res 2. To declare a final dividend of £nil Res 3. To elect Antonio Maria Alves as a director Res 4. To re-elect Aleksey Kalinin and Vladimir Koshcheev as directors Res 5. To reappoint auditors and to authorise the directors to agree the remuneration of the auditors Res 6. To authorise the company to issue shares under section 80 of the companies act 1985 Res 7. To renewal of the company’s authority to issue shares without first having to offer them to existing shareholders
Is this speculation or from something you have read?
seems like the company want to make new shares
I love watching this share. Even a £500 trade makes it jump 2%. As soon as people notice this one it will soar.
last week and have been watching for a re-entry point, and every time it gets close, people buy and push it back up .... if I wait too long I just know I will have to watch the boat sail away ...and with Oil prices up .... omg starting to panic LOL
why the drop today? Small volume......very.......
Whay aren't more people interested in this one??...... Cash rich with massive gas potential.....all legal issues are out of the way and this will recover to much nearer its sp of over 500p last year!! DYOR obviously..... but i cant see a problem long term.....
