The issue is that there’s not much buying interest at these prices ? No one knows what’s about to happen and given the actions in the recent past there’s not much hope is there ?
Probably short of money and cannot hold any longer
So what were all those recent big sells about then ? 🤔
CDT performance does not necessitate a placing at any time. Let’s hope lack of investablefunds is solved through a new big investment partner.
What I don't get is why anyone sells at the absolute bottom...but then no one at all is buying...unless the £13 total from unknown trades are buys.
There's a pattern developing here very few shares traded 4.5ml about £450 worth ( change down the back of the sofa for most shares) and the price has dropped exactly the same percentage as yesterday. Is everything hanging on CDT...because that's not looking amazing. ...and the BOD remains zipped up.
Just hope there’s no placing announced on the back of CDT performing poorly and lack of funds!
Been a bad day on NAsDaQ and a poor month. May May bring better things to us all….
47k volume, but sadly a 10% drop in the day. I like the volume but dislike the direction. Let’s hope for some bargain hunters tomorrow and better still some……….news!
High than average volume on CDT with half an hour to go. Up and down but staying between 3 and 3.50, mainly a channel between 3.1 and 3.4.
A high level of interest given there is nothing to be interested in. Puddles in a pond normally caused by something…..unclear as to whether it is a beautiful family of swans or an ugly pike waiting to eat someone’s puppy. ( I’ve not been smoking, jus5 feeling poetic, or it may be insanity caused by Vela and CDT watching!).
Perhaps our old friend the 150mil seller has remembered they've still got some more of this toilet of a share to shift, and has duly done a big dump
Unless something comes in at the end of the day.
I even checked the share amount and its 100% mine.
It's a bit worrying that a buy makes the SP drop 8%
The circa £1000 is mine and it is a buy
Surely the price hasn't dropped again because of 1 transaction of less than £1000. Or does anyone have access to L2 and knows of a recent big sale
I'm still waiting from years ago BouncersDream
Yep, this isn’t going to change over night, I’ve kept an eye on it for a long time since originally coming away.
I have every faith it will come good.
Probably not terrible timing, I certainly wish this was my average. As long as you're happy to pop it in the bottom-est drawer you have I imagine you'll make money at some point in the next few years
I’ve kept an eye on Vela for a long time having took a good amount out during Covid and didn’t trade since.
Always had a soft spot for Vela so I’m back in.
Assuming no shares sold.
Value of original investment (including purchasing option) £2.75m
Value of CDT shares @$3.34. £2.7m
VELA market cap: £2m
A little late buying at CDT
Closes at 3.34 volume of over 18k ( thirty day average volume just a little higher)
Be nice for this volume to continue and for a very gentle bit of upward momentum to kick in.
I d9nt ask for much these days hence “a very gentle bit”.!
A few thoughts on recent chat.
On TSP I can see why it was bought. Initially it was bought slightly early due to a broker admin hiccup. I think the Chair and large investors will sort TSP out. The technology is superb and deserves to be developed by a well run business.
On CDT it is holding at 3 or 3.2 and is getting acceptable daily volumes. Let’s hope for news.
On Mode, no real view other than the current moves will likely rescue the best available get out for the small Vela investment. Already written down in the books as you say.
If the world ever settles down into a more normal ( discuss!) condition and after the UK and US elections we may get back to a period where investment funds are more accessible and some AIMshares recover.
Ah I see, wasn't aware 18/03/2025 was the present haha
Not sure we are the right people to ask. Our investment in MODE has been nothing short of a disaster. VELA invested a total of £316k in MODE and the value of the investment at suspension was just £13k. I would suggest anything over this would now be considered a bonus but likely not going anywhere and written off.
