Either someone has got wind of bad news or someone has got fed up waiting for good news. Either way the sp is taking a hit today with someone selling up. When oh when will this company deliver for lths?!
GLA
Not convinced..
There is so much potential here for VDTK to grow quickly. Just one agreement with a commercial entity with cross border EU presence that announces they want VDTK panels in all their properties and this will simply explode. Keeping my fingers and toes entwined...
If there was a surge in demand would VDTK try to stay independent or look to get a partner of some sort on board to help with increased manufacturing costs etc?
They wont post anything they do not have to. If it goes wrong they get slaughtered, especially by TW
They are keeping everything close to their chest and making good progress at last.
I know some think VDTK don't need to inform the market of every sale they achieve but just now it wouldn't do any harm to drop news of another major installation being confirmed which will bring in another £100k + into the coffers.
£400k of sales in first half of 2023 bodes extremely well for Verditek. It's far more than we knew about which would imply there are indeed more sales contracts already in place for the second half of the year we have not been made aware of. If they can maintain that figure or even improve on it then 2023 is going to be far better and to me at least means VDTK will be very strong going into 2024.
They are going to need some funds but hopefully the BOD will have some good news on something to boost the sp rather than them doing a raise down at this level.
Anyway, things finally and definitely on the up.
We all knew 2022 was rubbish but these new arrangements with Metrotile and Lindab definitely have the potential to change everything. I cant remember a time when Verditek were producing attractive and professionally marketed products like they are now. Nice to hear that there are another 2 arrangements like this is the pipeline as well. The future is very bright.
Sales figures looking very good but cash position not so.
Another placing coming soon?
I hope you are right Henry. I would dearly love to see this back at 2.5p
Metrotile are selling their verditek panels hard in the UK too.

Please stop trying to play games with the share price.
Lindab have exclusivity to sell the verditek panels in Nordic and Eastern European countries, as per the rns in March. Lindab have country specific websites. Only the English language version still says "launching soon" so I assume they're already selling where they have exclusivity. Lindab have never advertised the manufacturer of the tiles but they are Verditeks because the RNS coincided with the Lindab Solarroof 2.0 launch which is being marketed across Scandinavia and Estern Europe. The Lindab tiles have the same look and spec as the Verditek tiles. Verditek do not need to tell you each time they have made a sale.
Results are out of Friday and we already know they have sold much more than in previous years so sit tight and cross your fingers. I think the future is very bright for Verditek as things stand.
I just looked on the Lindab AB website and put Verditek into the search engine but nothing came up. do you know which product it is they are marketing? I'm sure I looked a while ago and found a page that stated a panel was going to be 'launched very soon'. I'm probably looking in the wrong place but would be v grateful if anyone can point me in the right direction. Alternatively I can just call up and enquire. I'll post back any info I get here for people to see.
We have no idea how much Lindab have ordered so far but they certainly appear to be marketing their Solar Roof in multiple countries across Europe. Perhaps we'll find out some figures on Friday.
Lindab's exclusivity looking shaky if they don't start reeling in a few more contracts soon.
...exclusivity is conditional on Lindab achieving a target volume of panels of 850kw in 2023....
Think they've done 120kw thus far and now only got 6 months left.
Would love to hear of some more installations going ahead. The silence is cruel!
Thanks for that bit of background. Oh I've heard of this TW bloke. Sounds like a nightmare. He went on and on about EUA being a scam. I never believed him but.... the sp has gone from over 40p to 3p in the last three years and the BOD have NEVER delivered on anything they said was due, including their own NOMAD saying in an interview there would be a 'massive dividend' could be on its way, updated JORCs license transfers etc. I think he may well have had a point with EUA but I don't believe for one minute this company isn't genuine or their products both real and of good quality. I'd just like to hear more about it all.
What you say may go some way to explaining the irregularity of news then.
Hopefully Lindab and Metrotile will do the job to finally get things going for Verditek. Any news or confirmation on new installations, even modest sized ones, I would have thought worth shouting about and also incontrovertible as far as TW is concerned if they provide photographic evidence as they have recently of works in progress.
Roger, don't forget they have the constant problem that whatever they put out they have TW to cope with. He appears to have a major hatred on the company and picks to pieces every mortal thing they post. The nomad gets involved and then they have to to tons of work proving him to be incorrect. Just the way it is
Yes, although something would be better than nothing?
For the cost of an RNS even just informing the market of another £100k worth of sales is worth it for the improvement in sentiment here, surely? RR could simply suggest they've reached another milestone in hitting their near term target of £250k in sales or something like that. Staying silent on AIM sticks always leads to a loss of confidence and general market jitters at the moment are as bad as they have been for many years. Keeping quiet on everything suggests, well, nothing, no progress, perhaps even worse. Anyway, hopefully someone can pull a rabbit out of a hat some time soon.
Better day having said all that.
I think RR was so fed up of putting out RNS’s only to have whatever he was reporting cancelled at a later date and then getting ridiculed for it. I get the impression they now only put out if the nomad says they have to. Hopefully this will lead to under promising and over delivering.
Fingers crossed.
Tks I'm sure you are right. It's just a bit frustrating when you have to go digging for basic info like this that should be perfectly visible on the company website and clearly communicated by the BODs. I know VDTK is a very small outfit at the moment but think they could be doing rather better if they were to have improved information outlets to the wider market. It's not clear from their website that what you suggest is the case but I've no reason not to believe you.
I hope VDTK will be ready for that day when sales really do start to pick up via Lindab and Metrotile. GLA
Roger65, I think you will find the one's Lindab are selling have the required certification. The other certification recently applied for is an extra environmental one.
I suspect that's the case Sophie but...tbh I don't ever recall seeing an RNS stating any panels had received Certification and surely that would have been worthy of an RNS as it would most definitely lead to a significant increase in sales and thus qualify as market sensitive news? If I've missed that then I apologise.
If they are doing installations such as this one - albeit a small one by the looks of it, then all well and good. Which is the panel they are using for that installation and which one is it that's going to be launched 'very soon'. I'm confused.
Hopefully VDTK will at the very least release a statement when this new mysterious panel is launched by Lindab...or maybe I'll just have to look on Linkedin like other share holders.
In all seriousness I do hope it comes good for this company and it's long suffering share holders. Things are much improved over the last three months so as long as this certification issue is sorted for all their panels then things will look up in a big way a year's time from now.
Metrotile and Lindab continue to heavily promote and install the verditek panels and Helinor Energy have just finished 3 days of promo at Norways biggest offshore event. That's quite a show of faith from major companies who are already experienced in the Solar market and have recently dropped their previous offerings for the superior verditek panels. Panels that they have tried and tested for a year or more.

Beautiful roof installation of uncertified panels, right @roger65?
I think you will find that the panels in question are certified. It is other panels which are not yet certified but applied for.
