Agreed OHS. But when you’re so far in the red as I am ie now over £80k down it’s a bit galling to put even more money into a company whose products seem great but the management simply won’t engage with ordinary share holders. I dare say they hoped the recent MOU would lift the sp much higher and thus get this raise away at a higher price and less of a discount but trust has been eroded over years of infrequent comms and news that drops with no warning whatsoever. Just means your investment is a total punt. Sometimes the news is good but more often than not it’s not.
What’s next for VDTK?
Many thanks both
Who ever it is we’ll find out because there will have to be a Tr1
But if a disaster but…trying to look on the bright side there is obviously someone somewhere with deep pockets that thinks vdtk is going to succeed. Could it be one the Directors?
John Celaschi is a major holder already I think. Maybe he wants more but surely the investor behind this must have been given more information as to what’s really going on.
Opportunity Laura. Both parties get what they want, just one gets a really good deal. Short term drop but it will be a big red day nonetheless. 70+ % held by II holdings so once the 111m shares are sold back to the market, it’ll back up above the 0,45 price. Opportunity for many to average down / take a position when they feel comfortable imo. This isn’t the first, second, third time VDTK had done this…… it’s a game for the opportunist
OHS
This was likely as they only had £290k at July results but it seems too have gone to a single investor
Any ideas ?
EvRiderz have been using Verditek in Thailand since late 2020. I take it that they are also suppliers to the expansion in South Africa.
Roger when the Metrotile order is announced and it comes in anywhere near 200,000 euros you will be able to sell at far more than 1.5p. Add news of a small pilot order from the MOU in Thailand and we will be cooking with gas. 2 financial years ago this company had a turnover of less than £30,000 . An increase of around 15 fold in 2 years is not bad going. "from tiny acorns do giant oak trees grow"
The all time low was .45p so we're close to bettering that as things stand. Bit of a calamity this stock for me. Have held for several years and topped up every time it's dropped. But the drops just keep coming. The next time this hits 1.5p I'm out for good. I've got over 7.5m shares so a decent holding but I feel as if I absolutely don't exist as far as the BODs are concerned. Nomad utterly useless too and almost seem as if they aren't aware that VDTK is actually a client of theirs! Each time I've called I have to explain what Verditek is and what they do. Hardly inspires confidence. BUt its' ok I've got the BODs to do that. Oh...hang on a minute
One more spike please and I'll be gone. Just to 1.5p so I can reduce my loss to under £20k
Have been looking at some nice hotels in the canary islands for an October break. When the metrotile order is announced I am hoping to pay for the holiday from the profit I make when selling the top up shares I bought last week. I am at the moment typing with my nose as they will not allow me to take the straitjacket off on Thursdays.
On a more serious note, things do not seem that bad. There have been a couple of lukewarm attempts to drive the share price down but no serious selling. The last 3 pieces of news have been each less than a month apart, so if this is a pattern we could hear something next week? This would coincide with the main holiday season coming to an end.
I give up trying to explain any trades on AIM....... Especially when 2 trades this morning totalling less than £8k wipes about £350k off the value of the company with a 9% drop!
OHS
Yes I’d clocked that too. Always helps obscure what’s really going on. The key is to knowing why buyers/sellers want to paint a different picture from the one they themselves are part of.
Thoughts on the 2 delayed trades for 965k shares each? Again, some length has been gone to try and hide any specific market reaction to those two.
I also think that trades can often not be an entirely true reflection of what is actually being bought/sold. Granted the drop over the last week+ heavily suggests sells but I’m also of the kind that perhaps it’s more of a structured and organised movement of holdings between 2 parties. Todays first and last trade are a prime example of this imo - 480,000 shares @ 0.803, one marked as a buy and one marked as a sell…..?
OHS
Thanks OHS. That’s a fascinating and impressive bit of detective work. I’ll also see if I can find any other links.
This notion puts a very different slant on things but still leaves me questioning why the recent drop. Manoeuvring to influence/inspire a loss of confidence? Not as far fetched as some might think were this confirmed. The value of the company with such an association would go through the roof!
A very interesting link. I was negative on the MOU but now I am having a change of heart.
Hi Roger, I've been in and out of VDTK a few times and have often shared your frustration. I'm currently on the fence regarding the latest MOU RNS as you'd think the SP would have reacted quite differently to what we are seeing! That said, it may well be that things are happening behind the scenes as that type of RNS isn't normally met with a drop like we are seeing imo - the values certainly don't warrant a fall from 1.2 ish a mere couple of weeks ago to this level - again, this is imo. I'm currently researching/searching for a direct link between the latest RNS and 3Sun. 3Sun Gigafactory is a solar panel manufacturing company and is based in Catania, Sicily (note the MOU RNS references Southern Italy and East Sicily as the location of the proposed JV factory with NZV. The reason I'm trying to connect the dots (and I could be way off the mark / clutching at straws) is by asking myself why they have specified this location and also this line in the RNS, "Scaling production up, NZV and Verditek will transform the social, environmental, and economic outlook for the region in Southern Italy." - this is a bold statement considering there is already a huge factory presence in this region so I'm asking myself, is their a possible collaboration being formed? I haven't found any reference to 3Sun producing flexible light weight panels so perhaps VDTK have something to offer? Just a thought I'm exploring....
Here's the link to 3Sun:

The Metrotile order is due soon and the share price rises roughly three fold from that time. It would not surprise me if they are receiving monthly orders and have not bothered to inform anyone. If metrotile come in with an order north of 200,000 euros then the share price will surge. Until that time and with the lack of any other news I cannot blame people for selling.
I’m starting to wonder if we’re going to see a TR1 soon and learn of a Director selling out. The selling has been consistentl since the MOU with NZV and mostly between £3k to £8k.
One decent buy of £7k last week but other than that the buys are a trifling amount compared to the offloading. Oh well. It’s never been a comfortable hold this one and there have been some exceptionally dodgy moments (the warehouse theft for one) and coupled with the fact the Chairman works in Westminster, the CEO lives in Thailand, the warehouse is in Italy and another Director lives in Cyprus means it doesn’t look great to be honest. It’s spread all over the place and it doesn’t feel like there’s any central thinking going on in terms of strategy or anything really.
If you’re going to invest in this company get used to long, long periods of silence. It’s immensely frustrating but there’s no doubting the products are great and that there are excellent partnerships in place. The BODs simply refuse to put out anything other than absolutely essential in terms of news. If you like guesswork and investing in the dark then VDtK is for you!
2 large sells, share price should move down now. The lack of news is making this easy to drive the share price down.
Oh….. relentless offloading going on. Lots of sells of 400k shares dropping so can’t see this recovering without news now. Going to be a tough hold.
Should have learned by now to keep my mouth shut when I lose patience.
Anyway, hooray. Nice to see it blue again. Long may it soar
There you go. Share price has just moved up.
Roger everything is fine. I think you are looking at the trade by trade price. The actual share price has not moved. A couple of good buys so far today, things have calmed down nicely.
Mms are failing to make a market here. Pretty much £4k bought today, not huge but…only £95 sold and the sp is down nearly 4%
Stupid games and not funny. Needs looking into. BOD also letting share holders down. Sp is now down over 30% in a few days and not a word. Disappointing and utterly typical of this management team.
I see your point on the news. This company likes to announce "big news" and has a track record of ignoring the "bread and butter" news. I am quite sure that directors would love to buy in at these levels, but to do so would open themselves up to accusations of market manipulation for their own benefit. From my own point of view there is nothing to be concerned about. I will focus on the facts rather than respond to rumour.
